Mr Kennedy the vet (the good vet) has just called regarding the results of
Francis's blood tests. What a lovely Christmas present :-D
Francis, although his blood readings are still high, they are considerably
reduced from the levels taken by the PITA vet who said that Francis needed ...

We're overwhelmed with the purrs and the posts, so for brevity I'm
posting a little update separately and we thank you all.
She seems ok today, but has been sleeping a lot, for a kitten. She
has been eating ok, and drinking a lot, but then it's dry in here

Merry Xmas and Happy holidays to one and all.  Glad to know that there
are so many people in the world that love their vet and are willing to
give the vet and office staff a little show of appreciation.....
But STOP GIVING US GOODIES!!!

The folks I drive for are normally really good about drivers home for
scheduled home time. They make a special point of doing so for
Christmas. Right now, though, it's looking kind of iffy.

Bubbels:
An Evil game, designed by Evil people, for the purpose of amusing
themselves by snickering at Stupid people, who waste their lives
PLAYING THEIR EVIL GAME!!

My parents filed for divorce. Not much to say on that one, they've been
miserable with each other for years and I guess with empty nest they moved
on to other people, another life. And to be quite truthful, I'm happy as one
can be on that subject. I'd be happier if my mother did not ...

I'm going out right now to buy a lottery ticket!!!
Not only is my daughter coming in town bringing my grandbabies with her, but
I just had an amazing run of luck in my latest Bubbels game.  My previous
low score was something like 30,000 to 35,000 (don't remember exactly), but

I'm still alive and about to go to sleep.
It pains me to consider that this could go on for a month! I was talking
with a paramedic tonight & he said sometimes they get people who've simply
collapsed for no apparent reason, and when the family is questioned about

Hi Everykitty!  Sandy Claws came to my house early this year.  Meowmie
said it was because I was a "speciawl wittle baby" in that annoying
voice she sometimes uses but I know it is because she is dumping me in
the kennel to go visit some peepholes in a place called OH,  HI, Ho.  ...

Bleh... What a nice ending to my year, LOL. I've had a root canal done, or
we're in the process of one. My dentist prefers to do a root canal in steps
if it's absessed. Thursday was drilling/reaming and draining. Yesterday I
went back to have the root drained of excess absess fluid ...

On Monday, Rob had to go see the VA doctors in Winston-Salem about his
VA disability claim.  Right now his 100% disability is temporary, the VA
is in the process of determining if, and if so...how much, Rob is still
disabled.  It's a PITA, but has to be done.

We're having this cocktail party on the 23rd and I have to make a
bunch of appy's.  I haven't got a clue about what to make!  I have a
stove top and a microwave and a BBQ but no oven, so I can't do
anything that requires baking.  Any ideas?
