Just got back from 3 weeks off (vacation).  When I got the 'puters powered
back up and connected to the Net, I was informed that there were 4,280
unread messages (just from RPCA).  Sorry folks, but I just had to plonk 'em.
I just don't have the time (darn RL) to go through them ...
Thank you for the purrs.22 Dec 2004 22:06 GMT3
Jake decided to take off last night.  He zipped outside when Charlie got up
to take the dog out to pee and we could not get him back in.  Left the
garage part way open but he still had not come home this morning.
I haven't been on the group today so didn't get a chance to write ...
The stinker!22 Dec 2004 21:43 GMT9
I mentioned a couple days ago about how Harri learned to get inside the
wallks of the truck, and about how I blocked her entrance points with a
towel stuffed in the hole.
This morning I walked into the truck stop to buy some supplies and some

Bridget and I have talked to Hazel, the holder of the RPCA/Catslaves
Emergency Vet Fund.
Without airing too much dirty laundry, Hazel has told us that she has been
undergoing a very acrimonious divorce from her husband, and before the

When  my 2 cats eat their dry food, they take a mouthful and shake their
heads before chewing.  I don't know if all cats do this, but mine do.. and
all the time.
They toss kibble bits all over the kitchen floor.  I have a placemat under

GOOD NEWS:UPDATE #8    Re: Mimi not feeling well.22 Dec 2004 19:04 GMT5
Last night Mimi didn't want to come to bed, she was playing with a twistie
(her favorite toy), pounced on our feet when she did (she even bit my big

My huge orange fuzzball, "RJ" and I live in a 1st floor apartment in

We have a private patio out back, with a high redwood fence. RJ was

I have a dear friend I met online several years ago, and she is the
President of the Board of Directors of a no-kill shelter.  They have a
raffle once or twice a year.  This year's raffle featured a couple of
things:  a really nice candle basket with all sorts of goodies, and a

As I finish my 2004 Holiday Card list I gather my cards from previous
years and the lists (unfortunately I lost several years of lists in a
computer crash, luckily I still have all the envelopes from previous
years) and I sort out the people who have dropped off the list for some ...
