| GW: Mystery clump on wall | 23 Nov 2004 08:14 GMT | 9 |
I'm getting dressed to go to work and I just saw something odd on the wall next to my hamper. It looked like a brown mound, similar to those mud wasp nests that we have outside, but small. I call Tom to look at it, I figured perhaps we have some bug that is building a mud next on ...

| 6 channels [OT] | 23 Nov 2004 03:59 GMT | 27 |
Here in the UK we have five channels of TV ["terrestrial channels"] coming through our aerials, two of which are funded by licence fees not advertising. Naturally they compete a lot. Cable and satellite provide lot more of course, and Sky our main satellite provider looks on ...

| Bubbeloholics Annonymous | 23 Nov 2004 03:07 GMT | 10 |
I am a founding member of this organisation and confirm that I am Bub 01. I understand that 012 has already been taken. I hereby stand up and admit that I played the game three times on Sunday and lost every time. I have only ever solved the game once, sob. I

| Score Molly 5 Us 1 | 23 Nov 2004 01:35 GMT | 4 |
Ok, we've thrown in the towel. Molly demands out, she's got it. Thankfully she is not going far and is coming back in when we want her pretty much. And Jake is playing with her and more or less babysitting when they are out.

| RB purrs for a friend | 23 Nov 2004 01:18 GMT | 22 |
My dear friend Sherry had to give the greatest gift of love to her 21 year old cat Charlie. She is hurting really bad, she's had Charlie since she was 19 years old. Sherry told me that besides her parents, her longest relationship has been with Charlie.

| Teti receiving Instructions | 22 Nov 2004 22:38 GMT | 11 |
You know what? I used to laugh a bit when I read stories about the Mothership and so on. I don't laugh anymore... Last night I was going to bed, and as usual Teti and Tin?viel followed me to get a good night's sleep. The procedure is the same every night, Teti comes

| A new first for Roxy | 22 Nov 2004 21:25 GMT | 6 |
About a week ago I mentioned how nice it was to wake up to my little Persian adoptee, Roxy, coming up on the bed for kitty snugs. She's still doing it, and several times a day, as I must take frequent naps. Up till yesterday though, it was always what she wanted and when she

| [BW] City girl visits | 22 Nov 2004 21:02 GMT | 2 |
We have some new neighbors - young, and with no telephone. So the wife comes ove (a little too often) to see if she can use the phone. I am at the point of showing her where the pay phone is... I've got Buster in my lap, and Little Feet nearby, while watching

| The d*g is gone! | 22 Nov 2004 19:01 GMT | 5 |
Well, the in-laws and their d*g left this morning. The cats are quite relieved that the stinky critter has left and they've been extra-clingy today. It might be the cold weather, or the fact that they missed us, since they spent all day Saturday hiding from the d*g.

| Vehicle purrs | 22 Nov 2004 19:01 GMT | 24 |
It seems Murphy never sleeps! Last week I was finally able to make the final payment on my little pickup. Aside from the paperwork delay, Nancy and I now own it free and clear!

| Francis | 22 Nov 2004 19:01 GMT | 11 |
Was out in the garden this morning. As I wandered out there, he came to me, live mouse firmly clamped in his jaws. Francis was head and tail held high, full of himself with the result of his successful hunt. I do love it when my sweet boy cat continues to defy the diagnosis of a ...

| Bear is a farter | 22 Nov 2004 17:29 GMT | 10 |
I adopted two male kittens shortly before Memorial Day, Bear and Davey. Davey is long and lean, the stereotypical "curious cat" that can't stand not to be right in the middle of whatever you are doing. Bear is built like a bulldog and already has a pretty-good-sized old man's tummy ...

| D*g Calls 911 | 22 Nov 2004 17:19 GMT | 20 |
I wish there were kitty service animals who could do things like this... Are there? Or are felines too independent to make good service animals? (though the Power of Purr is a pretty good service in and of itself)

| Exercise, Part 7324 | 22 Nov 2004 16:51 GMT | 2 |
Many of us know the joys of exercising with a playful, curious or affectionate cat(s) in the room. Stinky will sometimes watch, and sometimes even demonstrate the correct way to do what I think I'm doing.;) But when I lie down on my back to do crunches, or relax
