Just about 12 hours from now I will be packing them into their carrier box
and heading for the animal hospital.
Surgery is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Central USA Time. That's 15:00 GMT.
Successful Spay/Snip Purrs will be greatly appreciated!
O frabjous day!24 Nov 2004 16:47 GMT23
All of Nanki-Poo's tests came out negative!  He doesn't have any of the
fearsome three viruses!  He still isn't eating, but his poor little nose
is still stuffy.  I'm hoping that will clear up soon.  I have a
humidifier in his room now, but I can't leave it running all the time.
Back, sorta, with snippets (long)24 Nov 2004 08:50 GMT15
Real Life has swallowed me whole lately, but we have been sending
purrs out into the aether to be distributed as needed by the
mothership, and will continue to do so.
Hubert has decided that dishtowels do not belong on the oven door.
Spare purrs anyone? Pretty please...?24 Nov 2004 05:29 GMT35
I haven't been able to come here for a while. My bust buddy Randy's
mother is fighting a vicious cancer; and damn the evil thing, it's
threatening to win.
I've known the family form the start of high school. Back then they were
Thanks for the purrs!24 Nov 2004 04:47 GMT9
Just to let everyone know Rosco the kitten has just done a 180 degree
turnaround. The antibiotic and treatment has made a remarkable difference in
his eyes already and he just plays plays plays all day, and hollers his head
off. He's going to be a yowler. He is eating out of a bowl ...
[Bubbels] High Score tally24 Nov 2004 04:05 GMT29
Ok, everyone send me their best scores - mentioning whether you finished the
game or not, and I'll put the scores up on my Angelfire site (where the FAQ
is).
The "Not finished" will be sorted by highest score, the "finished" will be
OT: Adult beverage heads up24 Nov 2004 01:51 GMT2
Hi, for those of you who like to take a wee nip now and again (and I
don't mean catnip) I'd like to introduce you to my new best friend.
Everyone, meet Lt. Blender.  Lt. Blender's claim to fame is his
Margarita in a bag.  The bag contains some dried Margarita mix.  You add
Dealing with a Travelling Rug24 Nov 2004 00:17 GMT1
It is the seed head season and the Travelling Rug i.e. FSP comes in
covered with bidibidis.  I spend hours each evening prising them out of
her coat accompanied by sporadic squeals when I pull too hard.  Guess
this is a common problem with long-haired, outdoor cats and there is not
Nanki-Poo news23 Nov 2004 23:24 GMT17
For those who didn't see this on another thread.  Purrs, prayers,
crossed fingers and paws are requested.
I had to take Nanki-Poo back to the doctor.  He hadn't eaten anything
for at least 24 hours, and I don't think he was drinking either.  He had
New fostercat.......uh-huh...23 Nov 2004 18:30 GMT3
I have a new foster cat (didn't take long lol!) who is a very sweet,
very talkative little calico. I've named her "Chatter" as she has
something to say about everything!
She's also a typical Calico in that she is very certain about what
Something's wrong with Mischief...........23 Nov 2004 15:14 GMT5
I can't put my finger on it, but something's up.
I was able to take the sheets off my bed to wash them AND was able to
make the bed WITHOUT her 'helping' me.
Being able to make a bed without a cat in sight.
long-haired cats and dry climates23 Nov 2004 14:22 GMT9
Oscar and I both grew up in Virginia, where damp air and wet clothing are a
way of life.  Then we moved to Colorado ...
She seems fine through the summer, but as winter approaches, the air dries
enough to visibly affect her fur.  She constantly looks like an angora sweater
Multi-purpose purrs23 Nov 2004 14:17 GMT12
Seems like everyone needs purrs for something.  Missing cat purrs;
reluctant-to-come-inside cat purrs; hissing cat-buddies purrs;
not-peeing-in-the-sink purrs; job purrs; back pain purrs.  And possibly
Bubbles purrs!  I'm sure there are even more.  (Personally, I need
Prayers needed for a little stray23 Nov 2004 12:39 GMT33
Last night I lost my heart. To a tiny half-starved brown tabby stray
cat. He came to me via a rescue group in Cardiff who had begged me to
look after him as a favor. The person dropping him off with me said that
he had been caught on a notorious farm scavenging and existence in a
First Holiday Card!23 Nov 2004 10:12 GMT2
Okay, Persia went nuts over the cat fur again! <G>  Made me laugh; thank
you!
