Billy & Lily made it through being desexed. I am making them stay overnight
in the van to keep them a little quiet. I just let them out of the carriers
and offered some food, water and a litterbox. So far I've been too scared to
look at their wounds.

I am a technical person who is technologically challenged by my cell phone.
I haven't figured out how to set up my voice-mail.
So I was on the phone (land line) with John around 4:30 PM.  I get off the
phone and my cell phone which was in the other room is flashing at me.

Some of you may remember that Ding went walkabout a while back. I know
not if he actually got out, hid in the basement, or visited the
Mothership, but it clearly was traumatic. He's always been the most
timid and submissive of the three.

Smokey, our 14YO DSH has been feeling poorly.  Listless, sleeps *all* the
time (has even slept through breakfast which is most unusual).  DW took him
to the Vet for his annual exam.  Vet did blood work and found everything
fine except the kidney values.  Thought it might be ...

Took Francis to see Mr Kennedy, the good vet, today. He's very, very pleased
with Francis's progress. Gave Francis another steroid injection and renewed the
prescription for the beta-blockers. Will go back in another month and have a
follow-up blood test done on Francis's kidney ...
