| Stinky's First Thanksgiving | 26 Nov 2004 14:42 GMT | 2 |
I came downstairs awhile ago, and had to chase Stinky away from licking all the salt off the crackers. ;) Actually, that's pretty lucky, comsidering . . . Years, ago, on his first Thanksgiving with me, I had company. He and

| Gift giving | 26 Nov 2004 12:21 GMT | 7 |
Little Rhett took a little toy out of the "toybox" (just an old unused cat bed that I throw toys in when I vaccum) and dropped it at Shamrock's feet and then went back to the business of playing on the cat tree. Shamrock looked at it, looked at him, then batted at it a

| More Nanki-Poo worries | 26 Nov 2004 07:13 GMT | 31 |
I'm taking Nanki back to the vet in a couple of hours. He does a lot of purring and snuggling, but he's still doing a lot of sneezing. Okay, it's only been two days since he saw TED, but what really worries me is that he hasn't eaten anything in 24 hours, he didn't drink his milk

You'd think that the folks hired to take classified ads would be a little more knowledgable than the one who doesn't know what a womb is. The ad was in the Lost and Found of the Florida Times Union several years ago.

| Celebration! Birthday! | 26 Nov 2004 04:24 GMT | 21 |
On this date, November 23 2002, my deeply loved female Devon Rex, Tin?viel, gave birth to the litter which later was known as "the Egyptians". They were named Teti, Teos, Isis and Darius, all names from ancient Egyptian mythology or from Egyptian faraoes. Tin?viel is my ex-wife's ...

Try Zuma instead. After you try the online game on Yahoo, get the Deluxe version. It's quite a game....

| GAH! Bloody cat! | 26 Nov 2004 03:50 GMT | 22 |
Sorry, just a brief vent. Chatter, "bless her", (note the sarcasm) was spayed yesterday. In the UK, the vets use a flank incision. Last night, I briefly took off her E-collar so she could eat her dinner, turned my back for 1

| No, Persia, it's Raining! | 26 Nov 2004 02:54 GMT | 12 |
Persia can't figure it out. It's raining. Yes, the kitty walk is wet. No, you can't go outside. She didn't care. So I carried her outside. She immediately squeaked, "Eeek! It's raining!" and ran to go back inside. Now she's demanding to be let outside again. (sigh) Sorry, ...

| He ate!! | 26 Nov 2004 02:53 GMT | 42 |
All the time I've had Nanki-Poo sequestered, I've had a bowl with a combination of Friskies and Science Diet dry food in it, and a bowl of water in his room. In the meantime I've tried tempting him with various canned foods and baby food.

| O Christmas Tree (and Sammy) Pics | 26 Nov 2004 02:47 GMT | 15 |
I am a really *big* fan of Christmas trees. I spend lots of time decorating mine - I even pop and string popcorn for garland. My ornaments are all hand-picked, some hand made, and one treasured one is a tiny pair of wooden shoes my dad (RB) brought home to my mom from Holland at ...

| Peaches the lovebird is a great pet! | 25 Nov 2004 23:54 GMT | 20 |
Persia pays little or no attention to my lovebird, Peaches, unless she deems I'm paying more attention to Peaches than is required for her majesty :) Peaches doesn't let me 'handle her'; she was hand fed but then pretty much left on her own. I tried to acclaimate her to perching on ...

| Happy Thanksgiving, and... | 25 Nov 2004 18:34 GMT | 3 |
Boy do I have a tale to tell. I decorated the tree last night... with Sammy!!!! I don't have time to tell it right now, I'll have to do it Monday or Tuesday, but just let me say that it took me from 2:00PM until 3:00AM to complete the job. There were laughs, there were tears, at ...
