Boone and the ghostly kitten cries01 Nov 2004 22:36 GMT1
Friday night was perfect Halloween weather around here.  Foggy and misty
and the moon occasionally peeking past rushing clouds.  I took Boone
outside really late.  It probably was actually already Saturday morning.
Instead of doing his usual pee as fast as he can and get back ...
Real Life gets in the way01 Nov 2004 19:41 GMT19
Hi crew.  Real life has got me in it's talons and won't let go, it
seems.  For what it's worth, I can't even get a chance to work on the
gigantic cat quilt we're trying to put together.
Anyway, I'm back, wading through over 1600 messages, and hoping that no
Antonio????01 Nov 2004 19:17 GMT7
Has anyone heard any news about any sightings or return of Antonio?
I've been wondering a lot about him lately.  Have there been any
updates I may have missed?

New kitten01 Nov 2004 17:25 GMT1
              We adopted a new baby!
That's what the Internet message from Lynda's brother said.  It came
as something of a shock when her Instant Messenger jumped up on the
screen and she saw it there.  Not that they're too old to love or take
Chiristmas is coming....01 Nov 2004 17:11 GMT4
....and I came across some charming "catty" gift items in a
catalog called Nature's Jewelry.  They have a web-site:
http://www.naturesjewelry.com/.  Unfortunately, the address
doesn't change from that, when you click to look at the
Making the Bed with Mommy - a different slant01 Nov 2004 16:08 GMT4
I'm sleeping.  The phone rings.  I roll over to the other side of the king
size soft-side waveless waterbed to answer the phone.  I'm talking to my
long-lost when suddenly I realize I'm getting wet.  And it's not the cat,
and it sure isn't me.  My bed has sprung a leak!
Ballet Point01 Nov 2004 15:41 GMT1
Persia is such a dainty girl!  When she does a full stretch (butt in the
air, front paws extended) she rarely does it with both front paws stretched
out.  She does what I've come to think of as her 'ballet point' with one
dainty paw extended for the stretch.  It's so cute!  Oddly, ...

If you look closely, you can see two sets of eyes.

Cat collars...01 Nov 2004 11:56 GMT8
Smokey is proud to wear his collar.  It means he's OWNED.  "Why do you
say OWNED like it's a bad thing?  OWNED means I get food and a couch."
The vet who innoculated him did not give out cat ID tags claiming
"Cats won't wear them."  I asked for, and got, a dog tag instead.
Scot Witches/Cats Pardoned01 Nov 2004 11:49 GMT13
a rather surprising (to me) Halloween-related news story - Baron
Prestoungrange must be a cat person, to remember the kitties too  :)

Job purrs for Nancy01 Nov 2004 06:21 GMT22
I know this is short notice, but I just found out myself! Nancy has an
interview in 2 hours (4 PM Pacific time) with the publisher of the
newspaper she works for. If all goes well she could end up the editor of
the paper.  Purrs would be appreciated!
rustle rustle rummage rummage01 Nov 2004 02:09 GMT76
Autumn is in full swing, and it's Rush Hour in my back yard.  Birds
all over.  Squirrels bounding around, waving those outrageous tails!
Both of them on the ground, rummaging around for food, making
maddening rustle rustle noises.  Stinky is on the sill, all aquiver.
Hidden treasure01 Nov 2004 01:43 GMT13
Whenever we get any extra money, it seems that the resident gremlins throw
the dice or whatever and the one who wins gets to break something.
So, last Friday I got a paycheck for my temp job, and yesterday Jim called
me at work and said the stove quit.
Puurs for a lost dog01 Nov 2004 01:37 GMT41
It's 11 at night here. There's a raging thunderstorm outside. It's Nathan's
birthday - the front door bell went as the parents of one of Nathan's mates
turned up to collect her son. It is *evil* out there. Cue one very wet, very
cold, very bewildered dog on my doorstep! The dog has ...
