Kitty Dance02 Nov 2004 20:06 GMT7
Our cat Shelby has started doing the funniest hopping dance around our new
robot vacuum. We decided to get one of those roomba discoveries and it's
really great, but Shelby kind of hunches his back and starts doing the pogo
anytime the vacuum goes near him. It's not like he's ...
Why???02 Nov 2004 17:38 GMT13
Vernon is sat on the other side of the office desks to me. We are chatting
about our overnight visitor. Vernon says, "Why us? How come stray animals end
up down here at our house?"
I told him he is *stoopid* if he doesn't realise by now that we have a large
Samhain remembrances02 Nov 2004 17:31 GMT23
As you know, I am Wiccan, and celebrate Samhain (Halloween) as a
sacred holiday that honors those who have departed this world,
especially in the past year.  I would be honored to include any of
your beloved furkids or human loved ones tomorrow, as I honor those

Comment from Deo's male slave relayed to me by female slave - "Poor Deo
baby, so who's done this to you?"    Seems Deo is covered in scratches
and bites with big chunks of fur missing.
I know, I know, I should be sorry for him, but it's hard to (secretly
We're home :-)02 Nov 2004 13:52 GMT9
Well, Dennis and I are back home in Thailand.  We got in to Bangkok
late on Tuesday, so we spent the night with my friend Elsa, then drove
home yesterday morning.
Vino was soooo happy to see us, he purred non stop all day!  He was
Purr request02 Nov 2004 13:00 GMT23
Could I get a personal purr or two? I'm soooo frustrated! I stupidly
attempted to install a demo program yesterday that ate my hard
drive...well at least most of it. The good news is I had a back up and I
was preparing to move from an older computer to a new one (office
Halloween party02 Nov 2004 12:46 GMT15
Don't even think that bad things are done to black cats here on Halloween.
It would never happen.
I've been invited to a Halloween party tomorrow night, and I'm going as a
black (witches) cat.
Mommie's little nurse02 Nov 2004 12:33 GMT10
Lynda, my Dear Heart, has had a migraine for the last few days and
I've been trying my best to take care of her.  While I've been asleep
or busy though Lynda has never had to go without companionship.  Our
little Squidget has been stuck to her like glue, Lynda has only had to

Check this out, I found it a hoot. Read what is says at the bottom after you are through and it askes if you want to restart.
Have fun, Lisa.

National Shelter Week02 Nov 2004 07:54 GMT1
I'm sure a lot of us and our friends realize it's National Shelter
Appreciation Week-- this is probably one of the last groups that needs
to be reminded of shelters, their importance, and their unfortunate,
all-to-common vulnerability.  So many of our lives have been enriched

Boyfriend got groomed02 Nov 2004 00:48 GMT16
Now, Boyfriend was never a true feral because he had a collar on when he
came here, but somehow he lost his home and became very shy, but he is
getting much braver with me.
I thought I might try to groom him with my soft brush as he lay on my chair.
OT question for scanner owners02 Nov 2004 00:08 GMT4
A question (well two really) for anyone who has a scanner - what's the
best way to clean the glass plate, and is there anything you can do to
prevent it from attracting every bit of loose dust, fluff and cat hair
in the house?
Cat Haiku01 Nov 2004 23:39 GMT6
You never feed me.
Perhaps I'll sleep on your face.
And that will show you.
You must scratch me there!
