playing with the kitties at the Shelter - very long07 Nov 2004 19:04 GMT3
Sorry this is so long, but I've got actual kitty-related information
to share and I'm excited about it :)
ohn took me to see the rescue kitties at Animal Aid this morning...

Love Hurts!!07 Nov 2004 15:13 GMT3
I'm wondering whether every cat we write about has a different degree of
sandpaper abrasion when they wash us.
For instance, I can stand for Chessie to lick my arm but Nikki's small pink
tongue could lick flesh from the bone.  I let Nikki lick the underside of my

I have neglected my aquariums for a bit now so the algae got a bit deep
and the plants are neglected and I have a bit of excess energy today and
got irritated I couldn't see the fish so I took the tops off and started
scraping.  I waited a bit long, so it is a bigger than usual ...
New addition to the family07 Nov 2004 10:37 GMT7
I wrote an email to my dad a couple of days ago to brag about my new
computer (he's majorly into computers) and today I received a reply.
He acted as if I'd just announced the birth of a new baby and
congratulated me on "a strong and healthy Pentium 4, 2.93 Ghz".  Then

The name won't mean much to people outside the UK, he died today aged 66
from prostrate cancer. Another charecter who will be missed by many.

Speech not necessary07 Nov 2004 05:12 GMT1
I got up very early this morning, while it was still dark. I know my way
around the house so sometimes I don't put the lights on straight away. So I
didn't and stumbled my way into the kitchen to put the kettle on for a cup
of much needed tea.
Whatcha doing Meowmie...........AHHHHHH!!!!!07 Nov 2004 02:42 GMT1
I went to a part last night and had an awesome time.  I went as a dead
soldier.  I had the fatigues, the army boots, and went as far as the
green, yellow and brown camoflauge(?) makeup and a couple of battle
wounds.
Phantom Kitty Update07 Nov 2004 01:37 GMT15
I just don't know what to make of this.  I posted earlier this week
about Boone getting excited and thinking I heard a kitten crying.  I've
gone back several times at different times of the day and night and
haven't found a thing.  This afternoon Boone and I  went back and he got ...

A cat's new year resolution06 Nov 2004 21:26 GMT1
I know I'm naughty, I copied this from a magazine.
Never use a litter tray that has been used by anybody else or even by
yourself. Insist that your humans undertake their room service duties
seriously and don't hesitate to pee on the couch if standards slip.
The Chronicles of Frank V06 Nov 2004 18:13 GMT9
Now that Frank is feeling better again, he wanted to go on telling the
story of his life. As his humble slave, I agreed to take dictation and
here is what he had to say.
I mentioned before that I met my sister Matilda and my father Svarta
My sister got a cat06 Nov 2004 18:06 GMT13
My sister who has been going through the nightmare with her 7 year old
daughter's rape got a kitten!!!!!  I didn't even have to suggest it.
The universe intervened for me.  Someone she knew found a very young
kitten, probably 5-6 weeks old in a parking lot at a shopping store and ...
B & C and Fireworks06 Nov 2004 11:27 GMT5
We did a day trip on a bus tour yesterday to see some lovely
Rhododendrum and Azalea gardens - they were fabulous.  However as we
were gone from 7.a.m. to 8 p.m. it was necessary to lock up the terrible
three.   Put FSP in the cat house and left B & C inside.   They were not
Question06 Nov 2004 10:59 GMT14
I expect to be getting another cat in the near future - possibly next
week.  I have always introduced additional cats to those in residence
more or less immediately, and there have never been any problems other
than a few minor spats.
Ping Tweed: re. KFC's biting (long)06 Nov 2004 09:55 GMT3
LO there, hope the bleeding's stopped :-)
This extract might help:
It's is a verbatim (apart from typos, they'll be mine) extract from
the 1991 book "The Cat's Mind" by Dr Bruce Fogle DVM MRCVP,
