Ping Bonbon: The Cat Tree20 Nov 2004 19:27 GMT23
Re: the cat tree I told you I'd post the pic of. We hit a snag. Got halfway
through and ran out of carpet. I'm not sure what to do now. I can't find
another remnant that matches.  Maybe wrap the remaining posts with sisal? Or
use a contrasting color carpet? It's for the Humane ...
Funny Toy20 Nov 2004 19:22 GMT19
I was looking for a couple of birthday cards for friends yesterday,
and ran across something I just *had* to buy for a friend, as it was
one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
It's called the "Crazy Cat Lady Action Figure".
OT: A confession20 Nov 2004 18:50 GMT29
Hi, my name's Marina, and I'm a bubblaholic.
Yes, I'm sad to announce that this computer blonde figured out how to
play the game, and in spite of all the warnings posted here, I succumbed
to its lure. However, I will never reach the high points others do,
We met Hazelaz!20 Nov 2004 18:44 GMT7
Pam Hazellief (Hazelaz) came to visit us this week.  Great lady!  I was
supposed to have 3 days off work to spend with her, I only got to take 1,
but we had a really good time.  Went to Leavenworth, WA (Bavarian village)
and had a great time pokin' around through the "tourist ...
Buster is playing at guard cat20 Nov 2004 18:30 GMT5
Honestly, I do try to keep Buster in the house, but he wants out every
now and then. He generally just wants to use the shrubbery for his
litterbox, and then comes back and lies down on the air conditioner in
the window.
B & C and the Kitchen Sink!20 Nov 2004 17:53 GMT20
I said before that either B or C or both (I haven't caught the culprit)
like peeing in the kitchen sink, arghhhhhhhhhhhh. I had combated this by
putting an oven tray over the sink and placing a large pot lid on top of
that to weigh it down.  This was a minor distraction to a ...
Odessa's coming around20 Nov 2004 16:49 GMT23
Our little Tsarina is slowly opening up to us, bit by bit. She was
sleeping with us last night, but got spooked when I sat up and ran. But
this morning we didn't have to hunt her down to eat. She knows where her
chow is now, and is becoming more trusting that she'll have her
PING: Steve Touchstone20 Nov 2004 16:03 GMT2
Steve, just in case you would be interested in this--
The State of Oklahoma passed a bill that would allow the purchase of a
Spay/Neuter car tag. The tag will cost $35; $20 of it goes to an Overpopulation

I couldn't find your real email so I'm just posting here.  Looking
forward to seeing you tomorrow.  I'm still planning to be wearing the
denim skirt with a bright pink blouse and I'll look for your RPCA sign.
 I'm so excited!
Boy, I'm so stupid.....20 Nov 2004 07:23 GMT7
.........to think that a plastic bag with fuzzy mice would go
unnoticed by my two cats.
I had a few fuzzy mice in a bag in my backpack that I was reserving
for our program cats at school.  I remember Mischief sniffing at the

UPDATE: Brother is still missing.........20 Nov 2004 03:19 GMT19
Well, the good news is that Brother was not catnapped.
The bad news is that he escaped and is still missing.
This is what we were told by our professor this morning.
Apparently last Thursday after the evening kennel duty shift had left,
