Howdy all! I now have a spare monitor. There was a nice one on sale in town,
fairly cheap, so I used my Visa for it. Now I just have to figure out how to
fit it into the budget.
I see quite a few purr-request and sad-news posts since I left. No time to

Sammy gets the chair24 Oct 2004 10:02 GMT9
Both my girls love to hop up into the computer chair whenever I get
up. Like a lot of desk chairs, you can spin around in it. Some cats

I just took my son in to a pulmonary specialist today. As part of the
treatment/procedure plan, he gave him a list of recommendations. At the bottom
it said, "Bye bye Kitty." Hrrmph. I don't think so.
But here's the weird part. Lounging around the office was the most gigantic,

When we did the group purr activity, one of the entries was for my
brother, Pat. He had a hip replacement a couple years ago, and is
looking at getting another soon. He's been having problems with the new
hip, so he went to see his doc today.

Frank is scheduled for his dental surgery on the 27th. I have to take
him in to the vet school hospital before 8 in the morning and I get to
pick him up after 4 in the afternoon. I know I'll be a nervous wreck all
day. Actually, I'm a nervous wreck already. Frank will be 17 next ...

Many thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.  I'm off for the weekend, so
I'm sitting here cropping and resizing photos of the furkids.  I'm going to
get some of them online and either post links or add the links to my sig.  I
didn't realize just how many pics I have of them, ...
Min needs Urgent Purrs, please24 Oct 2004 00:52 GMT34
Shocking news this weekend. I was passing through the UK on the way
back to Hong Kong. It seems that Min went off her food last week and
was diagnosed very quickly with lymphatic cancer. She has tumours on
her kidneys and probably elsewhere.
Laundry day at the Singhs23 Oct 2004 22:17 GMT12
and so Louie brings up nice, fresh sheets, warm from the dryer, ready to
spread and fit upon the futon we use for a bed, because we've been
married only 2 years and can't afford jack...
"Dear, what on earth is that lump under the sheet?"
Does anyone's cat like to fly?23 Oct 2004 16:17 GMT9
Oliver and my husband Steve should start a comic book called Flying
Kitty.  Every night Steve takes Oliver "flying" thru the apartment.
Oliver will run up to him and lift his front legs off the floor,
stretching as far up as he can go.  Steve grabs Oliver just under his
Cat tends sick humans23 Oct 2004 14:38 GMT7
I've told a lot of stories about Nocturne being a furry little tyrant,
and all of them are true...
...yet when we are sick, Nocturne is the one by our sides, tending us.
When my partner got pneumonia and was too out of breath to go from the
Rosie saves my morning23 Oct 2004 13:39 GMT15
I started working at a temporary job a couple of weeks ago.  It felt like
jet lag for a while because I'm not used to getting up quite so early.
This morning, I was flat on my back, snoozing along, trying to get as much
sleep as possible, when Rosie moved from the pillow above my ...

I share my home with two male cats and my DH.  Simba is the largest
