on, Marina.

How to put a Telemarketer off his game.28 Oct 2004 22:30 GMT78
I had just finished making my lunch (Grilled Bacon & Cheese) and I was on
the way to the PC to catch up on the group, when the phone rang. So I
stopped to answer the phone, neglecting to check the Caller ID first.  Damn
cable company sales type, wanting to increase my already ...
And furthermore.....28 Oct 2004 22:28 GMT1
lol! Sorry, can you tell I'm seriously frustrated? What gave Microsoft
execs the idea that we were all stoopid hoomans that can't work our way
out of a paper bag? Or is it a test? If you can find the right button to
push to change default settings then you're smart enough to be ...
Job Purrs Please28 Oct 2004 22:25 GMT22
I could really use some job purrs right now.
In my continuing saga to find new employment (got outsourced in April,
nobody is hiring for anything (and I've been looking in 3 different
metro areas in 3 different states + various other places)), I've got a
Another kitten gone forever28 Oct 2004 22:19 GMT10
The very first thing that I noticed when I walked in from work this morning
was that Skimbleshanks didn't greet me at the door like he always does.  It
only took a moment to find him.  He was in the kitchen with the rest of the
gang, standing at his "dining spot", looking very ...
Rocky Update #2 (MUCH better news)28 Oct 2004 22:14 GMT33
Seems like these worldwide purrs must be doing some good. You may have
guess from the my earlier posts that I was pretty down. I just got
back from the clinic - I was supposed to return at three, couldn't
wait and went an hour early.

No wonder he turns his nose up at his cat food.
RSVP - a little long28 Oct 2004 19:31 GMT37
Hello everyone;  my name is Mike.  Flippy found me hanging out in another
cat group and invited me to stop in here, so; here I am.
I live in Kentucky, in the USA, and although I hold the mortgage and am the
bringer of feasts, there is a cadre of cats that live here that won't let ...
update on stray cat and kittens28 Oct 2004 17:12 GMT10
In the past 2 days I must have called over 20 shelters looking for a place
for the mother cat and 3 kittens. All the places I've heard back from are
full. I don't know what to do any more. DH has offered to make a cage to
keep them in in a spare room, but I think I'm getting into ...
Sara: Final Update28 Oct 2004 15:32 GMT2
I've just had a card from her (with a lovely pic of a seal-mitted
Ragdoll kitten, aaaaahhhh) in which she writes:
"Thanks for all the e-mails, greetings & best wishes. I'm well on my
way to good health".
This week28 Oct 2004 08:29 GMT6
Frank's operation is tomorrow, and we will be purring up a storm for him to
sail through it. Nathan has a full fitness assessment at the local university
human performance laboratory (doesn't that sound grand...) and will be working
up a sweat whislt he has things such as VO2 max, ...
Small joys28 Oct 2004 08:02 GMT19
Tallulah and Hubert are adjusting very, very well to having a home.
It's little things that sometimes make me realize what a long way
we've come.
Lula still has the stray's habit of very light sleeping, but now
Abelard's New Habits28 Oct 2004 05:29 GMT9
For the first time since I adopted him as a tiny kitten, Abelard is using
his voice on a regular basis.
He has realized that if I am not looking at him when he wants my attention,
he must make a sound with his vocal cords rather than doing a silent miaow.
the fascinating odors on my left forearm28 Oct 2004 03:53 GMT8
I went to see a movie tonight with a friend. When I got home, Smudge seemed
fascinated with my left forearm. She kept sniffing it. Later, Roxy did the
same thing. Couldn't figure it out - what was so exciting about my left arm?
Apparently, my right arm didn't have the same allure. I ...
