| It's a bag AND a box! | 02 Oct 2004 11:56 GMT | 2 |
There's a box in one of those Christmas gift bags. The bag contains a box with a porcelain tea set my oldest brother gave me last Christmas. And the box is in a bag. So after a year of it sitting here (I didn't have any place to store them.) Persia decided hmmm, it's a bag and ...

| GW - I know where it has been beforehand... | 02 Oct 2004 06:59 GMT | 6 |
One of Waffles's habits is that if she has been outside, when she comes in, she will run to me and if I am sitting down, she'll jump up on my lap, place her front paws on my chest and the stick her nose as far as she can up my left nostril, purr loudly and then rub her head along my ...

| Cats are Eating My Dinner | 02 Oct 2004 06:46 GMT | 29 |
I'm starting to get really protective of my dinner as Omar and Midnight and even Oreo at times are not above stealing my hard-earned dinner right from under my nose. Tonight, Midnight was helping herself to leftover chicken soup from the dish that my son put up on the counter after ...

| Cats Eating My Dinner - part 2 | 02 Oct 2004 06:40 GMT | 4 |
How naive of me -- I didn't take the dinner shenanigans the other night seriously... Tonight I made a beef roast for DH, knowing he'd had a long week, and, yes, I admit I was looking forward to it as well -- been eating a lot of "energy

| safe at home! | 02 Oct 2004 04:01 GMT | 6 |
Quinn is at his rug-play games* as usual. Last night, after roughhousing he ran off around the kitchen island as I straightened the throw rug and threw himself sliding across the floor into the rug, looking just like a ballplayer sliding into home plate ... a ballplayer,

| taking care of cats when you are wheechair bound? | 02 Oct 2004 02:21 GMT | 10 |
This may have been addressed here before, but how do people who are wheelchair-bound feed and clean out the litter tray. My brother is recently in that state, and can't reach down to the floor anymore to do it. I have to go over there and do it for him.

| Need Some Advice | 01 Oct 2004 21:04 GMT | 26 |
We feed every "stray" cat within a 2 mile radius of our house (as I'm sure most of you here do too). There is one solid gray cat who, at least at one time, must have been someone's pet since s/he (can't get close enough to tell) has on a flea

| Lady Jane Grey Upside Down | 01 Oct 2004 19:06 GMT | 13 |
So we've finally got a fairly decent digital camera. Expect to see pictures of my kitties showing up on alt.binaries.pictures.animals. Here's a picture of my Lady Jane Grey imitating a keyboard. If you're curious, the pictures above the monitor are(from left to right) my

| Is Australia channeling Ding's brain? | 01 Oct 2004 15:55 GMT | 4 |
I regret I don't remember who it was, but when Ding disappeared for a week not too long ago, one of our posters from Oz described the event as his having gone walkabout. The term is most descriptive and I've been using it.

| Update on the kits | 01 Oct 2004 15:35 GMT | 18 |
As some of you may remember, I took the cats to TED's last week. I called them for the results of Frank's thyroid test, and everything was fine, Since Frank is eating drinking, pooping and peeing normally, TED said the high urea and liver values must have been just some momentary ...
