Persia loves me!22 Oct 2004 00:26 GMT8
Awww... she's such a sweet girl!  She woke me up a few minutes ago by
tapping me gently on my face with her paw.  She purred in my ear, then
rubbed her face up against mine.
I missed her so much on my trip and apparently she wants me to know she
Explanation21 Oct 2004 22:32 GMT4
This is one time that I don't want any feedback. Someone wrote me
and said I should read the replies to my exit post. I read them,
and thank you. Yes, part of this went back to the email exchange
with OJ, though I wish he hadn't shared that.  I know I am
stray kitten advice needed, again21 Oct 2004 22:06 GMT5
As you know I have been feeding stray kittens and the mother. Yesterday DH
said if I wanted one I could keep it. How hard is it to socialize a kitten
that has lived it short life outside. I'm guessing they are about 4 months
old. All the kittens will come and eat when I'm about 3 ...
Meowmie said IT IS TIME FOR BED!!21 Oct 2004 22:03 GMT8
Oliver can be such a disciplinarian sometimes.  Last night I was
finishing putting the dishes into the dishwasher.  Oliver was on the
breakfast bar supervising and Boone (our lab) was sleeping under the
table.  After I finished I said "OK Boys, time for bed."  Oliver ran
Fez attacks again21 Oct 2004 19:13 GMT13
Well, it seems our little Fez has developed an affinity for opening
cabinet doors. First it was the aquarium, where he stepped on the power
switch and turned everything off. Now he's getting into the cabinet
under the sink, where we keep cleaners and other assorted hazards. This
I have a new boyfriend21 Oct 2004 17:42 GMT5
Or at least that's what DH is complaining about.
Arthur is a *major* lovebunny.  He spends half his time on my lap, and
frequently will stand up with his paws on my chest or shoulder, so he
can headbutt, nuzzle, and lick my face while he purrs loudly.
How did you choose your furry masters?21 Oct 2004 17:11 GMT44
Or did they choose you? :) Stories please!
(no I'm not just a voyeur... in three weeks we'll be getting our own
kitties and I'm getting nervous - I've never ever had a cat of my own
in my entire life! What if they decide they don't like me?)
Clever Snowball?21 Oct 2004 16:06 GMT10
I've long thought that cats without Asian blood weren't quite as
bright, and having compared my current pride with my RB half-Siamese
and half-Burmese boys saw nothing to change my view.
But recently Snowball the Ragdoll, whom I love dearly but not for his
Roxie on Patrol21 Oct 2004 14:06 GMT13
For the past two days, our Roxie has been pulling guard duty at the top
of the stairs, bapping Stosh and Brandy if they try to push the door to
Odessa's room open or cause general mischief.
Roxie and Odessa each know that there is someone on the other side of
Spiteful Lizzie21 Oct 2004 13:54 GMT8
OK, Lizzie picked DH out when he visited the local shelter - that I'm fine
with.  I'm also fine with the fact that she loves on him - aggressively -
when he sits at his computer, wanting to be on his chest/stomach so that
he's almost reclining in his office chair, and kneading ...
The UN has nothing on Nox21 Oct 2004 07:59 GMT2
Our Nocturne ought to be a dictator or something...
Nocturne deliberately imposes sanctions.  Leaving her alone for
overnight?  She'll eat a cactus and dismember an action figure--all
the bad things she never does when we are home.  Starting the vaccuum
Dagnamit Jake21 Oct 2004 06:17 GMT1
Our weather has changed dramatically in the last few days.  Gone from the
high 90s to the low 60s almost overnight.  With the wind that usually comes
with that kind of change.  And enough rain to make it foul out.
We have been trying to keep Jake in mostly because we don't want to ...
I met Britta and Dennis21 Oct 2004 05:33 GMT9
Don't know what I've been thinking - I met Britta and Dennis on Tuesday and
haven't posted about it yet!
They came to my house after lunch and we had latte's and cookies and a
really good talk.  They're outgoing active people and have a wonderful
Bagheera's First TED Visit21 Oct 2004 04:14 GMT7
Baggy went to the vet this morning for the first time since he's owned
me. He had his first injections and neautering before he lived here.
Today he had his annual booster and had a microchip implanted. The chip
is one of the new type which shows the animals body temperature on the
Christmas Card List:  Get me your Addys now!21 Oct 2004 03:44 GMT25
I have Snail Addys from the following persons.  I am using the email
"name" so that personal names will not be out there floating about
usenet.  Sorry for those I did that to when I posted the last list update.
There are some who are traditional members of the list (receive only)
