Mimi (RB) pic23 Oct 2004 07:33 GMT13
I just thought some people might like to see a pic of Stinky's RB
"big" sister, Mimi.  She was a tiny girl, with an enormous
personality, which I think you can see in this picture.

Pokey boy learns to play23 Oct 2004 03:43 GMT10
When we first brought Smokey in from the forest, he didn't know how to
play.  He would eagerly chase a ball rolling across the floor, but
once it stopped rolling, he didn't know what to do with it.  He'd look
up at me as if to say "Um, looks like it dropped dead...and it's no

Before I had Nox and Smokey, before I had Mom and MomDad, all I had in

Fritzie gets a phone call23 Oct 2004 03:00 GMT2
Long before the Do No Call List and all the recent legislation
surrounding telemarketing, we received a call to the house.
"Hello, may I speak with Mr. Fritzie F. Suz-zuh-shuh--"
"That's pronounced Sha-pan-ski (Szczepanski)," my then fiance Louie
Class trip to the local shelter  (TW!!)23 Oct 2004 00:32 GMT9
As a new part of my school's RVT program, my professor has worked out
that us senior students will volunteer a certain amount of hours at
the local shelter. Today was our orientation.
It started at ten in the morning and we spent almost FOUR HOURS going
A strange thing happened lastnight.......22 Oct 2004 23:33 GMT9
.......or in the wee hours of the morning.
My Husband and I 'camped out' last night on the living room floor in
hopes of finding out the source of why both of our backs have been
hurting.  We figure it could be;
Floods and  Earthquakes22 Oct 2004 22:41 GMT45
We've had it all here in Napier, New Zealand.  It started raining at
1.00  this morning  and in an hour 55mm fell - I think about half a
foot.  People have been evacuated out of houses and kids are paddling
their boats along some streets.  The power went off  nearby and the
Odessa sighting!22 Oct 2004 18:31 GMT11
First of all, many thanks to all of you who've purred and prayed for me
and my newest little girl, and for listening to a frantic, overreacting
cat-mama go batsh*t.
Okay, okay, y'all are right. She's pulling a nasty little feline trick
Soup22 Oct 2004 17:49 GMT9
Lunch time: soup.  When I make vegetable soup any passing cat sticks
his nose in the earth - and passes.  Oxtail soup and perhaps they give a
sniff.
But chicken soup and Nanki Poo appears.
Got her!!!22 Oct 2004 17:42 GMT18
Louie has decided to paint the entire basement stark raving white, the
better to see Odessa by.
We found her at last. There is an old dresser in the basement where we
store out of season, and out of size, clothing, and my husband found her
Ginger went crazy22 Oct 2004 17:27 GMT4
I think Ginger lost her mind this morning as i was trying to sleep.  I was
laying there minding my own business.  Well sleeping and all of a sudden i'm
awakened by razor sharp stabs to my calfs.  Let me say first of all,  that
when I went to sleep last night my bedroom door was shut ...
Cats stalking large game22 Oct 2004 15:34 GMT33
There have been some recent cat food commercials on TV showing cats
stalking/ chasing large game.  Yeah, right.
Well, just such a thing played itself out in my back yard Sunday
evening: two of my cats stalked, and spooked, one of the four deer
Boyfriend the Brave:  update22 Oct 2004 04:20 GMT1
Thanks to everyone's purrs, my house suffered no damage at all from the
wind.   I lost a bit of my greenhouse roof but all chickens, geese and their
huts present and correct this morning.
When I got up. the wind had eased to 50 mph - so the radio said.
My monitor died22 Oct 2004 00:40 GMT9
Therefore I will be away for a couple of weeks while waiting for warranty
replacement. I used to have a spare but sold it when desperate for cash
recently. I ought to have my head examined for doing that. How do I run my
business now? I've borrowed Gloria's monitor just for tonight. ...
