What the...?22 Sep 2004 20:21 GMT1
Sweetie was asleep on the couch, head on one of her front paws, other front
paw over her nose, looking very cozy... except her back toes were all
splayed out.  For a long time.  So long I had other things to do and
couldn't keep watch on her toes.

Blue Box Episodes22 Sep 2004 17:17 GMT8
Don't know why I was thinking of this but, about a month or so ago my mom
went to work in her flower bed thought she saw her beloved Ralphie on the
patio in quite a predicament.
Well it wasn't her Ralphie but one of his poor foes had managed to get his

New Nina Pictures, Yes!  She's almost three months old, now and a fuzzy,
adorable terror, she is, too.  (Well, perhaps she's not as dangerous as
little teeny tiny kitten (KF warning)22 Sep 2004 15:27 GMT16
Someone sent me this link. It's a tiny, tiny kitten that someone is
hand-raising. It can't be more than a day or two old! The photos are
really good.

A morsel of cheer22 Sep 2004 15:16 GMT15
There's been so much real tragedy lately that I've quite lost my
natural optimism & enthusiasm for life.
Wonderful heartwarming events such as our lurker's donation to Hannah
Eve's funeral do much to redress the balance (I'd like to add my
Oh............Nice One Louie!22 Sep 2004 05:15 GMT6
Two weeks ago, on saturday morning, my husband and I woke up to Louie
sporting the third eyelid halfway up on his left eye.  Only the left
one though.  We thought perhaps he had scratched it or something
during the night, but rushed him over to the vet anyhow.  Turns out it

Sending purrs for Victor's mom and for Tweed who are both having surgery
today.  Good thoughts and best wishes that everything goes well for both

The Chronicles of Frank III22 Sep 2004 01:15 GMT6
Frank woke me up at 3 am to write this. I tried to ignore him, but he
has perfected the art of mind-melding (and yowling) to a point where I
can't help myself, I must obey his every whim.

Gotcha! 21 Sep 2004 20:58 GMT5
Scene: my computer desk, 8 am eastern time, USA.
Cast of characters: Myself, Gabby, ETwo and Isaac.
The printer hums, and it gets the attention of Isaac, who stands beside it
and watches the light flicker on. Gabby, wondering what Isaac is doing,

There is the latest of B & C, one of Joy in LA (notice what she is
wearing!!!!).  The picture of the tree in the Alaskan Garden is
interesting.    They planted a dead tree upsidedown and used its roots
as a sort of umbrella garden.   They looked fabulous.
Eager beaver21 Sep 2004 20:18 GMT21
Sometimes Nikki does what i call her eager-beaver thing. It's not just
her face, but her whole body seems to hum with excitement. Her eyes are
big as saucers and popping out of her head. She pushes her whiskers so
much forward that her whiskers pads stand out from her face. It's
Show of hands please21 Sep 2004 11:46 GMT31
Taking a note from Jeff Foxworthy.
You know you're an ailurophile when...
... you make more impulse buys in PetSmart than you do in Wal-Mart.
... every cat within a 2 mile radius of your house comes to your yard for a

RPCA talk is infecting my writing. I just had to stop myself writing
'd*g' in my translation. I've also caught myself almost writing
'apurreciate'. One day, I will write 'hoomin' and not even realise.
