Some People28 Sep 2004 13:08 GMT10
I was just talking to my sister on the phone and she told me about a
robbery from her local "Cats Protection" shop. Two teenage girls went
in, one of them distracted the asistant while the other stole ?100
pounds from the till. What kind of people steel from a charity?
Anyone Hear From Grace?28 Sep 2004 11:35 GMT21
Has anyone been in touch with Grace to know how she's doing.  I'm still very
worried about her and would like to know that she's OK (or as OK as she can
be right now).
Hugs,
[OT] More Hurricane Purrs for Florida28 Sep 2004 08:58 GMT6
Purrs yet again for the people of Florida, as Hurricane Jeanne
(category 3) comes ashore tonight. It's hitting the Florida east
coast, landing in the Port Saint Lucie/Stuart area (between Melbourne
(north) and West Palm Beach (south)), in many of the same areas
My bodyguard ...28 Sep 2004 00:36 GMT11
Dusty came to me five years ago (the day after hurricane Floyd passed
by). We bonded immediately as I scooped the tiny six-week old furball
into one hand - and pulled her close to my chest. As a kitten and all
through her adoledcence(?) she was always at my side. Even today she
Minnie Update27 Sep 2004 22:40 GMT3
Email from her new slave:
Just wanted to send you a quick update. I went to the vet today. Well a
different one because my last one just wasn't up to my standards. (that's
the bad thing about having worked at a vet, I have very high standards now)
Snowball's "21st"27 Sep 2004 21:27 GMT17
Not exactly - there's no timeslip, he's reached Kitty 18 months, which
seems a good time to celebrate his arrival into adulthood. There are
definite signs that his hoolikitten nature is subsiding (in terms of
reduced damage to the household) and the "manic minutes" are now few &
Harvey: Short update of stuff.27 Sep 2004 20:11 GMT3
Harvey's been losing his fat, becoming more cuddly and is much, much more
insistent on getting any wonderful meaty we may be most shamefully not sharing
with him.
Billy's First Mousie27 Sep 2004 18:05 GMT14
He caught his first mousie today. He brought it in the house, of course, and
batted it around for a long time. All the other cats watched and Billy
growled to keep them away from his prize. Finally he ate it. In all my
cat-loving days I have never seen a mouse devoured so quickly.
"Kiss you all over" Saccharin Warning!27 Sep 2004 15:20 GMT5
I'll pet Little Feet, saying,
"Who do I love?
I love YOU!
Why do I love you?

The songs in my head...was Future Kityy-In-Law27 Sep 2004 05:56 GMT32
Well, a few weeks ago "Upside Downy Head" (to the tune of Row, Row, Row
Your Boat") was whirling around in my head for hours one day...now it's
the "My Friend the Witch Doctor" song. "OOOOH EEEH..." AAAAUUUUGGGHHH!

Little Feet pulls a stunt27 Sep 2004 02:38 GMT2
I got hom Friday, and Senyah seemed to be in a slight huff. See, she
considers Little Feet to be her cat (Hahaaahhha! All cats eventually
become my cats - big grin). So she really love Little Feet, although
she isn't much of a cat person.
An observation27 Sep 2004 02:33 GMT1
Yesterday we were on a committee boat for a sailboat race.  While waiting at
anchor for the competing boats to cross the finish line, I noticed that the
water resembled a huge blanket on a bed with cats lumps moving around
underneath.
