Hi Yowie,

RPCA History05 Sep 2004 21:17 GMT41
You know you've been reading RPCA too long when.....
You can't remember the precise recipe for a yummy salad you used to make, so
you go to Google and do a search of RPCA and you find it back in a
troll-b-que thread back in 2000....

I don't have to work on Labor Day.  I worked Memorial day and July
4th, so I get this holiday off.  What we normally do is there's a
morning and afternoon shift where we just go in to walk, clean, feed
and medicate the animals and then go home.  Hey, we get holiday pay.

Bandit's talent(?)05 Sep 2004 20:45 GMT24
Recently we've had weeks of showery weather: brief sunny spells
followed by short (fifteen-thirty-minute) torrential downpours.
Now, cats are supposed to be good forecasters and my mainly-indoor to

A visitor05 Sep 2004 19:46 GMT16
Since returning from France there's been a visitor to Chateau Simmons. One that
is not welcome according to the feline residents - especially according to
Waffles. It's a lilac tortie point (I think) siamese, intact male. As the doors
& windows are left open when we are in, so that ...
Don't forget your stories for the 1st and other cat news05 Sep 2004 17:05 GMT18
Pam the organizer <<giggle>> here.  Those of you who are writing stories
for the Sept. 1 challenge, don't forget.  There's still time to get them
written and ready to post.  Remember, your story can be of any kind, but
has to be told from a feline's view point.
kittens and ferrets / weird happenings05 Sep 2004 13:39 GMT14
two things,
first, the other day i watched a kitten and baby ferret

We have integration!05 Sep 2004 10:05 GMT7
My house is totally wrecked. Hurricanes DO hit New York State; I have
one here in the form of a little Hoolikitten, my little Brandy.
We kept her sequestered 3 days, and Stosh and Roxie could endure no
more. When I opened up to go use my own litter box, they slammed down
Purrs for the Crackles family05 Sep 2004 07:33 GMT17
an update:
Crackles had a bad weekend, very swollen and listless. Sunday night I was
crying because I figure in the morn I'd take Crackles in to be put to sleep.
Morning came he seemed perky and hungry. I took him in to the vet for her to
Purrs Needed05 Sep 2004 07:14 GMT25
Forwarded from Joy (Yoj):
I'd appreciate it if you could post this for me.  I changed Internet
providers to get DSL, and so far haven't figured out how to get to the
newsgroups.  Skeeter and I could use some purrs.
Tubs was here05 Sep 2004 00:59 GMT7
Gloria went on vacation last Friday morning and left me in charge of the 16
horses, the two dogs she left behind, and her cats, Leap-in-the-Air and
Tubs.
Tubs is a big solid gray boy. He lived here with me for several months when
Another Sunnyday04 Sep 2004 22:07 GMT2
Well, don't know if I'm just too lazy or busy, but I never got around
to writing something a new story. Instead, this is a repost of one
written last year. If you want to read the first "Sunnyday" story, or
any of the others, check out the Little Bit and Sammy page Flippy has
Cinder & Rosie have surprise visitors04 Sep 2004 19:42 GMT71
I guess I forgot to turn the radar off. That's how they know where to find
me. Usually it's cats, but occasionally, it's another furry creature.
Saturday we went boating and spent the night at a marina. While we were
there, two puppies showed up, obviously dumped. Definitely in ...
