Help: Terrible nightmares about my beloved RB cat!12 Sep 2004 11:16 GMT71
I need some advice about a recurring nightmare involving my beloved
Vanilla, now at Rainbow Bridge. So you'll understand, I have extremely
vivid dreams that are highly realistic and strong. Therefore when I
have nightmares, they are doozeys.
Vet Tech Journals 1112 Sep 2004 10:03 GMT8
I had to stop and think real hard when I  read about Skeeter having
CRF.
I could not for the life of me remember what that meant.  I'm just
learning about vet medicine and I should know what that means!!!
Purrs for East Coast12 Sep 2004 06:14 GMT19
Purrs for all the cats and their slaves that live on the east coast. Looks
like there is going to be some heavy rain and wind from the storms coming
through.

The group purr list12 Sep 2004 03:16 GMT9
For those interested in Saturday PM/Sunday AM's group purr activity,
I've put the current purr list on a web page
(http://www.catfolsk.net/purrs.shtml). I'm also attaching a copy of the
list below.
[OT] Florida Purrs12 Sep 2004 03:10 GMT17
Purrs once again for all in the state of Florida. This morning's
forecast path for Hurricane Ivan (currently a stronger storm than
either Charley or Frances) has the state in the center of a
south-to-north track. They're already doing mandantory evacuations in
Poor, poor Buster11 Sep 2004 23:33 GMT7
Today is Senyah's birthday. Never mind which one - she's only 21, with
a 1952 birthdate. We have another anniversarry coming up in a week,
too.
I took her out to Red Lobster for dinner.
Thanks for the Lula purrs!11 Sep 2004 23:08 GMT9
Thank you all; Tallulah's surgery went well and she's fine.  We'll be
picking her up first thing in the morning.  I can't wait.   :-)
Hubert will be thrilled - he's been a sad, sad little kitten, missing
his mama.  He's used to his mom and me going outside together; when
The Death Toll Mounts (Possible BW)11 Sep 2004 23:08 GMT15
Berfert the mighty hunter is not interested in birds, mice, voles,
lizards, bugs, or spiders like the other cats.  He is our guardian and
protector from...CLOTHES.  And not just any clothing, MY clothing.
So far this week, Berfert has protected us from, as in attacked, killed,
Cat Logic11 Sep 2004 20:07 GMT5
She's had enough skritches for now and she's gone to lie down.  Twenty
minutes ago though, Lady Jane Grey (she prefers I use her full proper
name when I write about her) was sitting on my desk giving forceful,
insistent head butts to my mouse hand (around here we call those
Waffles speaks...11 Sep 2004 20:00 GMT22
This evening The Mighty Huntress brought in a shrew. Alas it was/is alive and
is running about. When Waffles first brought it in and dropped it on the floor,
it ran off. Waffles chased it and a pile of papers on the floor were
immediately re-filed as per The Feline Filing Method...
Billy's misbehaving11 Sep 2004 18:19 GMT22
For the last few days Billy has been peeing all over the house. I have no
idea why. It's not tomcat territorial marking - he isn't old enough for
that, and he tries to bury it every time, too. They don't try to bury that
kind of pee. The litter boxes are cleaned twice a day, so it ...
When will it end?!?11 Sep 2004 17:36 GMT4
Dare I say it? The H word?  We're flying to Ohio this evening and will
be gone until Sunday night.  We're sending purrs and lots of
diversionary wind to our friends in Florida.  Good luck everyone!

Cats and speaker phones11 Sep 2004 15:24 GMT7
I often get involved in conference calls using a speaker phone at home.
Whenever this happens, Emily likes to join in the conversation, at first
she's down on the floor, pawing at me and my chair, then she gets on the
table and starts to talk. Pretty soon she's damn near sitting ...
Emergency purrs - FIP11 Sep 2004 11:19 GMT19
SIL messaged me today, her 4 month old kitten Chloe has been diagnosed with
FIP. I have no other information at this time. I'm going to try to talk to
her later this evening.  Sound like TED says to PTS.  I've found some web
resources, most more confusing than helpful.
Hellboy11 Sep 2004 10:57 GMT17
Went to see said film today, with Nathan. Total dross, but liked the way
Hellboy (6'5" of demon who is a goodie) had a softspot for cats - had loads of
them, and how he saved tiny kittens from the evil hounds of hell ;-)
Cheers, helen s
