Two kitten names14 Sep 2004 09:28 GMT35
I know you lot are very good at coming up with new kitten names.
Here's my problem, I usually ask the new slaves of my kittens if they have
preferred names that I can register the kittens as, I have a couple and
their adult son who are buying two kittens (they've had Burmese before) ...
A thank you14 Sep 2004 08:50 GMT18
I cannot thank you all enough for being so supportive.  The news tonight is
that I can see that I have a tabby/white cat on a cream chair cover. No
detail.  A definite Kitty with white and black. on another.
Up to now, detail is out.
Ding Report?14 Sep 2004 04:43 GMT20
Some nice person called the animal shelter with a report of a gray cat,
although there was another one, possibly abandoned, about 2 weeks ago.
The shelter had her call me.
I'm going back out with posters. This is a little further away than I

Purrs for Ding13 Sep 2004 20:52 GMT30
Ding tends to disappear into another dimension routinely, but I'm
terribly afraid he got out on Wednesday when some workmen kept leaving
outside doors open.  The other cats acted different today, hopefully
because they are picking up my concern and nothing worse.  I've left
Naughty kid, reprise13 Sep 2004 19:43 GMT3
Our Brandy is growing into quite the little Hoolikitten.
She can now outeat Stosh, which I never thought possible. Stosh has
always been a piglet in a tuxedo, with the table manners of a drunken
fratboy trying to eat pizza blindfolded, with hands tied behind the
Three cats on a string13 Sep 2004 19:33 GMT12
Following Krista's lead, below are some of the things going on at our
house lately:
I bought a lightweight blanket to put on our bed for the cool but not
yet cold evenings.  It came with a ribbon/cord type thing wrapped around
Bathroom Sink Greeblings13 Sep 2004 18:37 GMT1
Thanks to Cesca and Nina, I realize I not only have bathtub greeblings, but
bathroom sink greeblings.  Here I was, flattering myself that the two of
them found my morning routine of washing my face fascinating, given that
they cluster around to watch me do it every morning.  Now I ...
$#!+ happens!13 Sep 2004 07:43 GMT11
Our dear Fritzie (RB) was a venerable old man in his last year, when he
was 18; and like many geriatric humans, faced certain geriatric
problems. One of these was a case of constipation that was pure evil.
He was off his feed and vomiting so we ran him to the vet (a gem of
BlueBird says purrs work!13 Sep 2004 07:15 GMT8
I talked to BlueBird this evening for quite a while.  She said that
LittleBit is now operating on all four cylinders - and on both kidneys!
She seems to be completely recovered!
BlueBird herself is getting a little better, after spending most of the
More human purrs, too13 Sep 2004 06:38 GMT15
My brother Pat could use come accelated purrs, too. He is on the group
purr list, but apparently could use some extra.
He had a hip replaced a couple of years ago, but the replacement started
giving him trouble within just a few months. It seems they didn't do the
Purring in Buffalo13 Sep 2004 01:40 GMT3
This morning I awakened before my husband, and thought to leave the
bedroom and quietly do my morning prayers. Being 9/11, I changed the
routing a touch. Like Muslims, Sikhs are to pray five times daily and
have certain ones to be said at certain times. For the innocent who died
Bathtub Greeblings12 Sep 2004 22:24 GMT7
I didn't realize there were greeblings in my bathtub.  These must have been
particularly insidious greeblings because Persia jumped right in and started
chasing them all around and right back down the drain.  Lucky for her, the
tub was not full of water at the time.
Best Friends - OT12 Sep 2004 21:03 GMT11
This message from my friends in the Tampa, Florida area does mention
their pets, but it's still OT.  The gentleman is my best friend of
some thirty years and after he and the lady married, she became best
friends with DH independently of the two men.  It can be scary to
[OT] end of an era12 Sep 2004 18:20 GMT5
I made a bittersweet discovery this afternoon.  I decided to drive
through the neighborhood where my parents used to live, and
discovered that their former house has been torn down.  They lived in
that house for 25 years, up until their deaths, about six months
