Purr request for Sam17 Sep 2004 23:50 GMT21
I'd like to ask for purrs for Sam if I may.  Tuesday night it appeared
he might have some diarrhea. Wednesday morning it didn't look worse but
there was still the possibility and he didn't eat.  He came to me slowly
and softly meowed.  I worried about him all day yesterday ...
So I'm sitting here whining to myself ...17 Sep 2004 21:07 GMT54
So I'm sitting here whining to myself that I seemed to have gotten
relatively few follow-ups to my last two stories.  I knew that I had
satisfied myself with them by  the time they were finished, but where
were the precious add-on articles telling me how full of pathos was
Power Purrs from T&B17 Sep 2004 17:50 GMT6
Thea & Bono are on the road today, *finally* on their way home. So they are
meatloafing and making serious contribution to The Purr all day.
Frank & Nikki get lots of sympathy purrs for their TED visit, T&B are due
next week, Thea has a tooth to be checked again for suspected FORL ...
The Bag Lady17 Sep 2004 12:39 GMT4
I hope that the stories of my DH's cat, Puss Puss, were memorable
enough so that the name isn't totally strange to you.  I'd like to
relate not one of her adventures, but a tragic misadventure.  Before
you stop reading because you can't take another sad story, let me say
The Visitation17 Sep 2004 12:23 GMT6
My hubby and I were talking tonight about some odd happenings that have
occurred to us lately, like smellling perfume when there is no one else
around, and hearing footsteps upstairs, again when there is nobody else
around. He told me this about this 'visitation':
I have to post this - OT?17 Sep 2004 10:32 GMT1
It's not entirely OT, since many of our cats eat tuna.
Please pass it on to your friends if you feel so inclined.
Thanks.

New way to clean a cat17 Sep 2004 03:18 GMT6
So I'm sitting here with Buster in my lap, reading the group. He is
lying on his back, legs akimbo.
What a pretty tummy. So I reach down to pet that beautiful grey, brown
and white tummy.
Kitten eating habits17 Sep 2004 02:44 GMT5
I've fostered kittens (and sometimes cats) for our local
SPCA for several years now.  I know kittens can have interesting
eating habits, but the four I have now are ridiculuous.
I put out four bowls of wet food, twice a day.  All the

I haven't heard from my girlfriend for a while and I want to know if you are
okay.  I am, although two strangers are staying at the house to look after
my meowmie, she is poorly.
It's a bit scary.  If I am *very* hungry I will come in to eat my food while
Cat biting problem..........17 Sep 2004 00:58 GMT6
We have two cats one male, one female. The problem is that the male bites
the female about two to three times a day.  They are brother & sister.  She
has been declawed & he hasn't.  What can I do to get him to stop biting her!
Thanks.

Just a quick question.  Do you ever feel guilty when you move a cat
off your desk so you can write about that same cat on rpca?
I try not to be too much of a kitty meanie when I do move one.  It's
usually Lady Jane Grey (all right, we call her Janie) but I pick her

Good-bye Hannah Eve (TW)16 Sep 2004 19:58 GMT27
Two years ago, I wrote a welcome for a little girl.  She was a much
loved and anticipated addition to this world.  Today, as I write this,
my family mourns and my cats are purring to ease her trip to the rainbow
bridge.  For those who don't know, the rainbow bridge is where our ...
