As I was checking the newsgroup the whole house got a jolt.
Everything is OK but it does give you a fright.   Often our earthquakes
are rolling ones that leave the lights swinging.

Last night I got to run home for a few minutes between loads. As Nancy

other foster mothers. One of her foster kittens is not doing very well.

What a week this is turning out to be, have just had a phone call from an
elderly friend of mine telling me that her 18 year old grandson was hit and
killed by a car - this young lad had a very bright future in front of him,
he had began his studies to become a Doctor.

I just talked to the vet's office and they said Sammy was just fine,
she's awake and came through like a trooper.
When I asked, they said they "discouraged" mommies from coming to
visit since it makes the kitty think she's going home and stresses her

We call some people "feline". For me that's a great compliment, and
makes me wonder if you'd like to say who you think is the most feline
male and female human you know or have heard about. There are lots of
choices - for instance, all the actresses who've played Catwoman over

It appears Sammy is doing much better than I ever expected.  Those purrs
are working again.  He's doing so well, as a matter of fact that they
decided to neuter him today and he is currently recovering!  He didn't
have any sign of worms but since he had fleas they've treated him ...

At last I have my web site up and running - the photo page is still under
construction but I couldn't wait to see it on the net - there are photo's of
Freya and Gigi's new babies on the kitten page.

After being delayed by some hectic days at work, my own doctor's
appointments, and a strike among the bus drivers in our city, I'm
finally taking the cats to TED's tomorrow. I'm having Frank thoroughly
checked, and will ask about the stripe on his nose at the same time.
