Thank you all21 Aug 2004 20:18 GMT4
Your purrs and happy thoughts have worked yet again.  I'm home from the
hospital and everything went well.  As usual, I was a problem child.  When
they did the KUB x-ray they couldn't find the stone - it had moved and was
now hiding behind a bone.  They had to do the lithotripsy on ...

A friend of mine sent me this link to the same photo of the firefighter
reviving the mother cat while her kitten looks on - but this one's in

Lithotripsy Purrs Needed21 Aug 2004 11:08 GMT33
Well, I'm scheduled for 11:00AM CDST tomorrow (Friday, August 20), and
knowing how powerful the purrs from this group are, humbly ask for some
purrs that the lithotripsy goes smoothly with no complications.
Thanks guys.

Tonight while laying in bed I decided to eat a bowl of ice cream.  As i'm
laying there watching tv and scooping away.  Ginger comes up and tries to
get a few licks out of my bowl.  Now mind you I don't mind sharing a little
bit.  But its just wrong when the rabbit helps her take ...
Thanks everyone!21 Aug 2004 04:55 GMT1
You are all such great people. Thank you for the purrs for my little
Brandy Alexandra. Mama feels better, except I am just chafing to get her
home! Our home, that is, where she belongs. Our kitties miss their
foster-brother Brian, and I know they'll welcome Little Sister as much
We have a *lot* of lurkers21 Aug 2004 01:15 GMT2
Did you people know? My webshots album with pics of Nikki's birthday has had
390 hits this week! Wow. <waves to all the lurkers>

Remember those purrs I asked for.
Well, the reason I needed them didn't happen.
On the way to my appointment, which is a determinant for the rest of my life
mindyou, I totalled my truck. *sighs*
Sadie is better20 Aug 2004 22:14 GMT5
Sadie is doing much better today.  My mom bought her a bunch of new toys.
and this three level climb in scratching post and some catnip.  The cat nip
seems to help her forget her worries :) She was climbing the walls when i
left after dinner didn't even pay attention to me.  ...
Keeping Kitty Farmcat safe20 Aug 2004 18:50 GMT8
As you all know, Kitty got injured and it's not clear how and why.
I have put a reflective collar on her yesterday, just in case it was a car
that got her, so the driver can see her better.  She's tuxedo and mainly
black, probably invisible if she crosses the road in the night.
Kitty Farmcat feels great!20 Aug 2004 12:54 GMT29
A little update on Kitty FC who had a "nasty happening" almost a week ago.
She is almost completely well again.  Eating like at least two cats and
swearing at Boyfriend.  She can go up and down the stairs, outside for
toilet duties, sunbathe in the (rare here, sun) and meatloaf ...
My 24 hour kitty20 Aug 2004 10:24 GMT13
I'm not suggesting that you not read this, nor am I suggesting that
you turn away.  It's a very sad story about a little kitty that I only
had for a little more than twenty-four hours.
While I was recuperating from a debilitating illness, my sweet Lynda
Updates on Pippin et al (long)20 Aug 2004 08:18 GMT7
Pippin and Fizz are doing MUCH better these days. They are both off of their
psych meds. Fizz has stopped beating Pippin up. Plus, he's positively frisky
and playful. He's lost some weight too. Pippin spends time outside when we
let him. He's been bringing back voles and cicadas.  ...

We've all seen those funny photos of pets taken through a fish-eye lens. I
found a postcard at the post office with one of those pictures - a tabby
cat - and finally found out who takes these pics. His (her? I don't know
Japanese) name is Yoneo Morita and the series is called ...
Fred / Sapphire20 Aug 2004 04:45 GMT3
Some of you might remember my last foster kitten, Fred. Yeah, the scruffy
little escape artist with a good line in hiding in the hedge. Well, she's
two years old now, renamed Sapphire, and has enslaved my friend, the local
co-ordinator of Cats Protection. She's enslaved her to such ...
Crazy kitties (long)20 Aug 2004 04:20 GMT6
The weather forecast is saying 100% chance of rain here in SW
Oklahoma. I decided to take the day off and not even go pick up the
landscaping equipment trailer. Guess it's just as well, since I need
to do some laundry, tidy up the apartment a little, and watch the USA
