Fireball  RB 1986 - Aug. 14 200424 Aug 2004 01:25 GMT38
After almost two years of fighting hyper thyroidism and rapid heart beat, Fireball finally gave up. He got a UTI, I got antibiotics and that cleared up quickly, however, Fireball just gave up. He completely quit eating. I force fed him on Thurs., I tried everything. Fri. was my ...
I'm so pleased!!!!24 Aug 2004 00:01 GMT35
After much urging, and promising to take care of myself for at least a
week (Not just laying around like a slug and failing to do my heart
exercises), my DH, Lynda, has joined us as a lurker.  She says to say
*"Hi!!"* and that she will write something soon.
Worried Sick About Sammy24 Aug 2004 00:01 GMT19
Sammy has a big lump on her tummy at the site of her surgery.  I'm talking
about the size of a man's thumb.  I noticed after the surgery that she had a
small lump right under her incision, but I didn't worry about that, I
figured is was just internal stitches and maybe some scarring ...
Tallulah & Hubert pics!24 Aug 2004 00:01 GMT16
They can be seen in all their glory at:

There are a couple of T&H wrestling, but most of the pics are of them
sleeping.  This is so because pics of Hubert awake tend to be blurs.
Pounce!Pounce!What the?23 Aug 2004 17:39 GMT11
Last night I'm sitting here watching TV. It's getting late and the two
furballs are prowling around looking to terrorize something. All of a
sudden I hear this huge commotion down the stairs by my front door. In
my apt. you come into the front door on the ground level and walk up ...
Requiem for Lord Amber (RB)23 Aug 2004 08:42 GMT59
He was only 11 and a half years old; I loved him for 10 and a half
years. He came to me as I was mourning my beloved Max (RB). Dear Amber
brought laughter and love to my life. He had so much personality. He
could be so charming and cute and innocent and, yet, imperious.
Nina meets TED + New Pictures link23 Aug 2004 07:59 GMT13
It's been a busy couple of weeks at my end, and I've fallen behind on Nina
updates.  I've added seven new Nina Pics to my Yahoo Photo album:

BUT WAIT-- THERE'S MORE!23 Aug 2004 03:42 GMT40
No, we cannot yet drop the curtain on the Night of the Mousies.  I
heard a noise awhile ago, and switched on the light-- and saw Stinky
with *another* mouse in his mouth!
(Oh yes, and BTW, where the hell are all these mice coming from,
Early morning scuffle23 Aug 2004 03:26 GMT4
It was about 5 am this morning.  I had to go to the bathroom for the
third time.  Imp, seeing I was up, took the oppotunity to ask for
scritches and breakfast.  Then after he and Mischief munch on food, he
jumps back into the bed to lie on my bed, while I'm trying to sleep.
My house is a FLIPPIN' WRECK...23 Aug 2004 03:03 GMT7
Hubby got the brilliant idea to hang a grocery store plastic bag on the
wall to put the pouches from the cat food, so they wouldn't get into the
trash bucket and wreak havoc on the kitchen. "Why, what a neat idea!"
you may think. "And how clever of Louie!"
A very mad cat23 Aug 2004 00:21 GMT9
I just posted a photo on alt.binaries.pictures.animals of my cat Amanda just
after I gave her worm medicine. She is NOT a happy baby! She was about 3
months old at the time. I am happy to say she has forgiven me. <G>

Buster is having an 'awkward' night22 Aug 2004 22:51 GMT7
I got up to fix dinner, just as Buster came in to sit in my lap. So I
carried him into the kitchen with me, and sat him on the counter where
he could see what's going on.
There is a microwave popcorn bowl on the upper part of the two-level
Senyah Mountain22 Aug 2004 22:45 GMT2
Every now and then Buster deigns to spend the night.
This often means that bed space is at a premium, and we often end up
in weird positions, due to Little Feet and Buster taking the choicest
spots. But this is normal among cat lovers.
Tales from the Mouser: The Elders (long)22 Aug 2004 22:18 GMT9
That evening word had spread among the cats and kittens who were on
their maiden voyage of the Mouser. They gathered in the sleeping room,
bringing with them treats that they had taken from the galley to munch
on as Lacey told her story. Even Mischief was listening, although she
