Hubert used the litterbox!!  (Sort of GW)17 Aug 2004 06:42 GMT4
And Tallulah did NOT like it.  He figured it out all by himself; got
in and made a teeny little poop and scratched around, trying to cover
it but missing entirely.  Tallulah was upset and dragged it out to eat
it.  I backed her off, picked it up and put it back in the box, and

Whew!!  Another tiring two days.  Yesterday my shift was from 7-4, but
was asked to stay and help out.  I didn't leave until everyone else
did at almost 7.
We close at 5 on saturdays and at five minutes before 5, we got an
Jasper's done it again/Diabetic cats17 Aug 2004 03:20 GMT14
Those of you who were posting here four years ago or so may remember
that Jasper, our handsome black DSH male, has a small bald patch on one
leg.  He was involved in a fight; his leg was bitten, and one of the
many punctures became infected with an abcess as the result.  Luckily
SMART KITTEN16 Aug 2004 20:28 GMT10
Just wanted to tell you that Zorro (3-month old tuxedo kitten) can read!
I read the funny "Toe Monster" story  --  and he must have read it, too
--because since that time he has been trying to "get" my toes whenever
he can.  Never tried it before!   Ergo .....

not my fault (this time)!
As some of you may remember, I like my cigars. They comfort me, they
Skittish Weeble (long & a part OT)16 Aug 2004 19:27 GMT6
Early in July, DH & I took a 2-day/1-night mini-vacation to the Cincinnati
area (left 8am on 7/6, returned 5pm on 7/7, it was our 11th anniversary, and
DH needed the getaway after working through that strike at the factory where
he works).  Before  leaving, I had plugged in *2* ...
Roxie's Suitors16 Aug 2004 18:57 GMT2
The spirit of Shakespeare hovers over our simple home as our Roxie sits
in the front window...
Hubby came home a few nights ago and saw our dainty little girl in the
window, and a neighborhood tom on the porch making eyes at her. He
Hubert's discovered food!16 Aug 2004 16:12 GMT9
He's 22 days old, and he's chowing down at mom's bowl!  He's nursing,
but he's also eating *quite a lot* of cat food.  I am wondering if
he'll end up so big we'll have to get an exotic pet license.  ;-)
Hubert's also discovered the water.  He couldn't quite figure out the

Purrs for Sammy, Please P.S.16 Aug 2004 08:32 GMT17
I just realized this after I posted the last message.  My urologist
just told me this morning that I have to go in for a lithotripsy, to
break up a kidney stone that is blocking my right kidney, within the
next week or so, or I could be in real trouble.  Since then, I have

The Yowlet was 4 months old last week. We survived!!!!

Tommy Lost Control16 Aug 2004 06:26 GMT9
I meant to post this a few days ago.... Tommy finally couldn't contain
himself any longer and started wrestling, chasing and playing with the the
