Silly foster kittens18 Aug 2004 12:19 GMT4
My two foster kittens Mocha and Latte, about 13 weeks old, do the strangest
things.  They are borderline semi-feral, they don't like to be touched and
back away when approached.  I can pet them as long as I come up from behind.
Anyway, here are some of the weird things they do:
Going to a wedding18 Aug 2004 12:06 GMT8
I'm sending purrs and prayers in advance for those in need.  Tomorrow, Jim
and I will be flying to the Northwest for our daughter's wedding.
This is the daughter who rescued a litter of barn kittens a couple of months
ago and managed to tame, vet, and find homes for all six kittens ...

I guess this is for people with more money than sense to know NOT to
feed their owners Meow Mix!

Brandy Update!18 Aug 2004 07:29 GMT6
We got a call from the nice shelter lady Marilyn, who is foster-mama to
Brandy and several other kitties as well as her own furbabies. Brandy's
spaying is Wednesday. We've elected to take her the Thursday before
Labor Day, mostly to let her recover and to give her extra time with me
Feliway Giveaway18 Aug 2004 04:57 GMT2
OK, most of you have read of my troubles with the Feliway diffusers (they
made Weeble very skittish), and since he has improved after I removed them,
I am offering them up to whoever wants them.  I have the following:
2 diffusers
Hurricane?18 Aug 2004 02:26 GMT2
Does anyone know if Crackles Meowmie made it through Charley OK?
Two cats, one mind18 Aug 2004 01:07 GMT7
It's always struck me as funny how Frank and Nikki often echo or mirror each
other's position, whether they are sleeping or sitting or walking. When they
do that, I call them my twins, though they're not siblings.
Here are some examples of what I mean:
Thank you all so much!!17 Aug 2004 21:08 GMT1
I just want you all to know how wonderful you are. I needed someone to listen and understand my feelings about Fireball. I knew you were all great, but I was overwhelmed by your response. Thanks again.
Head butts to you and yours, Lisa
Sadie and Tessa got new homes17 Aug 2004 19:24 GMT2
I am very sad tonite my mohter finally came and got my two babies.  Sadie
and Tessa.  I"m sorry now that i complained about them being in the bathroom

Arthur's Booster17 Aug 2004 17:37 GMT3
Yesterday was the very last day I could get Arthur's distemper booster
without having to start all over again.  Luckily, the same Dr. Beer
and staff were at Petco, and my kind ex-husband was willing to run us
over there to do this, plus pick up food and litter.  And then run me
Cat thumbs and intro17 Aug 2004 17:29 GMT17
I post/read on rpch+b mostly and just found out that this ng exists!  I have
been lurking for a while and enjoy the more pleasant exchange of cat stories
and cute things.
I have 6 cats myself and also volunteer and foster for a local shelter.
Momma Kitty Gets a New Home!!!17 Aug 2004 16:42 GMT11
I just wanted to tell y'all my great news!!!
My SO and I just finished building our dream home, which meant I got
to move out of my apartment and into this huge house.  Well, I had an
outdoor kitty that I looked after, Momma Kitty.  She showed up on my
Vet Tech Journals 5 (long-thanks for your patience)17 Aug 2004 13:55 GMT1
Thanks for your responses.  Glad you enjoy the stories.  I try to
focus on the kitties, but sometimes they are all asleep so there's
nothing much to say.  :)  (Wait, Su-Ling just twitched......)
We have a lot of similar dogs boarding at the clinic, some arrived
Memo to self17 Aug 2004 13:42 GMT9
When you buy a cat toy with plastic pouch of catnip attached, *do not* leave
said pouch out where the cats can get at it. (When I came home from work
today, the pouch had been shredded and there was catnip *everywhere*. It
must have been an orgy.)
Baby Eyes has forgiven me17 Aug 2004 11:57 GMT3
After about two weeks of solitary sulking in the spare bedroom over the new
kittens, last night Baby Eyes spent most of the evening in my lap, purring
and giving me wet kisses. When I woke up today she was on my pillow,
kneading my hair. Then she crawled into the neck opening of my ...
