My Room Is Blue31 Aug 2004 23:41 GMT5
What do you do with seven cats while turning a formerly sorta white
living room a sky blue #2?  Well, in out case, we let them stay out and
about while removing most of the furniture in the room (the
entertainment center is too large and flimsy) and washing down the

Yesterday Dennis was lying on the couch and he decided to call Vino.  Now
the way to get Vino to actually come when called is to make your voice all
excited and use the word "lizard" a few times as well.  Works every time.
So, Dennis was pretending to see a lizard for Vino and was ...
A few purrs for my Beauregard31 Aug 2004 13:57 GMT20
Greetings...
My Beauregard is having a rough month.  First he got horrible acne on
his chin.  Turn out he is allergic to the dry food my friend had given
me.  And of course, I had mixed in the new food into the food bin with

Tallulah & Hubert & TED31 Aug 2004 07:54 GMT28
Tallulah and Hubert made their first visit to TED today, and we were
thrilled to have a good checkup.  No FeLV, no FIV - not even ear
mites!  Tallulah does have an intestinal parasite, as quite expected,
but otherwise these are two perfectly healthy kitties.  I didn't

I'M GOING OUT!!!31 Aug 2004 04:58 GMT10
The cat that I had as a late teen and young adult, well actually it
was my mother's cat, was an unaltered male named The Puddy (rhymes
with woody).  He was a very well behaved boy who never sprayed in the
house, but he loved to roam and in warm weather could make his own way
Kittens and pianos31 Aug 2004 04:56 GMT14
Helen's story about the woodchip turned toy turned aggressor reminded me of
a childhood amusement I used to have. (Don't ask me why, exactly. My brain
gallops around in weird ways.) Anyhow, when I was growing up, Luna, our
family cat was permitted to have several litters of kittens, ...

Thank you for the Purrs!!  They worked!  Anastasia is feeling much better
today.  She is eating on her own and has the life back in her eyes.  She
loves to snuggle and purr :-)  I thought you might like to see who those
purrs were for:  www.snittens.com/ana.html
Yo Yo Yoda Says Thanks30 Aug 2004 22:23 GMT9
YoMan says "thank you" to all for the birthday wishes and for reading Meowmie's
lengthy and sappy post. It's nice to get birthday wishes for a cat, since IRL
all I'd get was a funny look. You people all "get it" and I love you all for
that.
Two Lumps30 Aug 2004 21:31 GMT9
I'm wondering if anyone here is familiar with Grant-and-Hynes's
webcomic, "Two Lumps: the Adventures of Ebenezer and Snooch".
Cats who are clearly cats, and not midgets in cat suits (well, most of
the time - the strips where Eben tries to teach Snooch to play roulette,

Calamity is a Tonkinese taht arrived on Thursday.  By Saturday, we

The Naughty Kid!30 Aug 2004 12:56 GMT2
Remember that kitty who got loose in the airplane and shredded to
cockpit? I think I've got her.
Brandy decided to cut loose last night.. I was trying to get out of her
