Where's The Shirks?15 Jul 2004 17:22 GMT2
Pam called and things are great. They survived a bad storm in Virginia, and
should be home I believe in the next day or two. She has tons of photos, so we
can all look forward to that.
They are just having way too much fun. I believe they're gypsies at heart :-)

My central air conditioning has died and I have to wait for some

I have to ask the vet if Persia can eat this stuff.  She *adores* it!  Any
kind of food she wouldn't eat, I'd just sprinkle a tiny bit of this stuff on
it and she would chow down.  This isn't a commercial, just a link to what

I was telling my co-workers about the precious persian this morning and how

and said "My mom's 17 y.o. siamese died".  I mentioned about this cat but
not suggesting she tell her mom about it or anything (you ...
Abelard has gone stupid!15 Jul 2004 12:55 GMT42
One day last week he was sleeping on the driveway and called out to him. He
did not wake up. I called louder. He still did not wake up. I panicked. I
thought he was laying there dead. I ran over closer and yelled "ABELARD!!
WAKE UP!!!" and he still did not wake up. Then I started ...

Stinkyversary15 Jul 2004 08:36 GMT20
Second week of July-- my sweet little buddy Stinky has been with me
thirteen years.  Bringing him home was one of the best things I've
ever done.  He is so full of love and silliness and kittenlike spirit.
He was mounting a huge harassment campaign this morning, attacking me
Unofficial Persia Update15 Jul 2004 08:34 GMT5
Until the bladder surgery, even with special UTI dry food, Persia was losing
a lot of weight.  I was very concerned; I wasn't used to seeing her ribs and
her hip bones as she walked (still regally) away from me.
Since the surgery (to remove the bladder stones and benign cyst) and ...

the cool, rainy weather of June. July has been getting hotter and

passed the bank and noticed the big temperature sign said 98 degrees!!
