I've added some new pictures to one of my kitty websites: http://home.sonic.net/~jwermont/cats/licky/licky.html They're not all of Licky, though - I snuck a few Roxy & Smudge photos in there, too. :)

| New Wakeup Method | 19 Jul 2004 07:21 GMT | 4 |
Persia is normally very polite. If she wants to wake me up, she taps me on my shoulder. The last couple of days she's decided that is simply not good enough. She's tapping me on my *ear*, then purring loudly in it. Okay, okay! (I groan) I'm awake. I roll back over to snag a ...

| Icky Worms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!>:( | 19 Jul 2004 07:03 GMT | 15 |
This morning, as I was making the bed, Meanie/Mimi was curled up on my side, so I picked her up to move her. She stayed curled up as I cradled her, with her back legs stretched out so her hind feet were near her ears. As I was gonna give her kissies for being so cute (needless to ...

| HELP! Stinky in the paint | 18 Jul 2004 21:41 GMT | 13 |
Well, he did it. He got into the paint. Actually, he went and jumped up on his favorite windowsill while the paint was still wet. He got it on his paws, his butt and tail, and made little white pawprints all over.

| We've survived so far. OT but WTH you're used to that from me | 18 Jul 2004 21:35 GMT | 18 |
Well we made it to our friends Lori and Dave in Bristol Virginia, and am taking a couple or three days rest here before delivering Mike back to Job Corps and heading back to the chaos that I know has gathered back home.

| Will be away | 18 Jul 2004 16:42 GMT | 3 |
I'm afraid I'll be having newsgroup withdrawal as I'm going to be leaving tomorrow for Sarasota to visit a few days with my mom. I'll be back late on Monday night. I'll probably be online once more later today but otherwise purrs for all who need it; I'll miss you. Also, could I ...

| Just Shoot Me Now. Please. | 18 Jul 2004 16:20 GMT | 17 |
My son called and told me he's taken a job that requires him to be away three weeks out of every month, out of state, all over the country. I am going to have to take Bosley I guess. I now have 8 cats. EIGHT CATS. Eight cats. I can't believe this.

| A Message from Liz, JEM's best friend. | 18 Jul 2004 16:04 GMT | 5 |
A lady named Liz Chase contacted me recently, introducing herself as Janice's best friend. Liz and her husband live with Norma now, in Janice's apartment. (Norma upstairs, Liz & her DH on the 1st floor.) Liz has very kindly allowed me to post the message she sent me to rpca, so

| Rippin' and Rarin' | 18 Jul 2004 14:31 GMT | 22 |
Persia is obviously better! She's been rippin' and rarin' around the house since about 6:00 this morning. She killed another box :) I'm tired just watching her. Question: How can a single cat sound like a thundering herd of elephants? :o)

| Pictures of Blizzard | 18 Jul 2004 11:32 GMT | 5 |
I posted two pics of Blizzard, my white RB kitty, on ABPA. I think they were the last pictures I have of her before she went to the Bridge. It looks like I woke her up from taking a nap in my lap. She was such a sweetheart, and an accomplished lap fungus, as well.

| Harvey Scared Me | 17 Jul 2004 23:16 GMT | 4 |
I know Harvey likes to go on the deck. I know Harvey likes to bang on the glass to signal he wants to come back in. Still, late last night, while watching the History Channel, I heard 'bangbanganbanga' and I thought one of our neighbors had flipped his lid and was trying to get ...

| Cats and jigsaw puzzles | 17 Jul 2004 19:57 GMT | 18 |
Decided to put together a 2000 piece jigsaw on a table , instead of on the hardwood floor. Much less space to work with, but easier on my body. My cat of course was curious, and took a few stabs at the pieces as I
