Cat Fountain - Spring Water - NOT!22 Jul 2004 19:23 GMT22
Persia has one of those Drinkwell fountains.  I take it completely apart and
clean it religiously once a week.  Get down to the nitty gritty with an old
toothbrush and even pipe cleaners for the tiny crevices in the flow control
valve.  Remove the whatchamacallit from the motor ...
Crackles has Cancer22 Jul 2004 18:39 GMT36
The results of Crackles biopsy has came back and he has cancer. He has
only one option which is a very expensive surgery on his ear and only if
it hasn't spread to his lungs. An xray would determine if its gone to
the lungs. The operation would have to be done by a specialist and I ...
Names22 Jul 2004 18:37 GMT1
When I got Tiger at age 4 months, he was named Tweedles.  I'm glad I
changed it.  Can you picture a 25 pound Maine Coon (?) being called
Tweedles?

What?  What?  Are you okay???22 Jul 2004 17:38 GMT3
I am hearing this high pitched "Mew mew mew mew mew mew mew" that can only
belong to Joe Kitty, and he sounds lonely or hurt or something, so I call
him to me, "I'm here Joe, com'n baby..."
And he walks into the room with the stuffed tiger firly clamped in his
Update on my brother Dick22 Jul 2004 17:27 GMT2
My brother Dick is continuing to improve.  I'll just copy part of the email
my niece  sent me this morning.  You cannot imagine how relieved I feel that
he has made it to this point and continues to improve.  For the first week
we were afraid to even hope.  Thank you all so much for ...
Being adopted by every cat in town22 Jul 2004 17:11 GMT22
About 4 months ago after many weeks of thinking I decided that it was time
for me to get a cat.  Where I live you have to pay a 200 dollar deposit per
animal.  So I saved paid the deposit and got a little kitten from my best
friend.  She is nothing but pure evil, her name is sadie,  ...
Kittens & Candles Don't Mix22 Jul 2004 17:11 GMT26
Just thought I would pass on something that happened last night. Candles and
cats together in a house probably aren't a good idea anyway, but I never had
any problem. I was always careful to put them in a heavy votive holder and not
to put them on the coffee tables where the cats ...
Update on Floods and Earthquakes22 Jul 2004 16:47 GMT4
Since last weekend there have been over 200 earthquakes in the flood area,
mostly small ones but there has been some damage reported.
In the news today I heard that some houses are so badly damaged (by the
floods) that they will never be lived in again, some rural settlements are

doesn't wane.
We are healthy, and growing, but still very much babies. We have perfect (well,
Offending the Cat22 Jul 2004 14:46 GMT6
Oliver and I had a little disagreement last night.  I was practically
hanging off the side of the bed and he had his whole body stretched out
in to the middle of the bed.  I gently picked him up to scoot him over a
little and he rounded on me and bit my hand.  He didn't break the ...

Peking, Red China (Peking Morning Post) -- Police were alerted after a
lonely widower was found to be keeping 200,000 cockroaches as pets.
A horrified neighbor saw the insects swarming across the floor of the man's
house. The pensioner told police he had begun breeding the ...
