Met the Shirks in Flagstaff!23 Jun 2004 21:55 GMT10
BIL John and I drove from Riverside to Flagstaff to spend some time with
some of the most delightful people I've ever met. Unfortunately I
managed to seriously strain shoulder muscle so can not type much right
now. Hope later it will be possible to say more.
Sleeping with Stinky23 Jun 2004 20:07 GMT9
Along with Stinky's other bedtime idiosyncracies . . . I usually sleep
on my side, curled up in a semi-fetal position, and Stinky likes to
curl up  against my tummy, right where it curves in.  And if I turn
over, he gets up, climbs over my hip, and replaces himself on the
Two Lumps23 Jun 2004 19:32 GMT25
I'm not talking about Two Lumps the comic strip, although I've
bookmarked that site and I really like it.  :)
Today in one of the cages in the treatment room there's a bunch of
blankets, a water dish and a litter tray.  No cat can be seen, but

Victor Velcro and the Mama Snake 23 Jun 2004 14:20 GMT9
I was busy reading RPCA when there appeared to be a flurry of activity to my
left in the walkway that divides the house.  The was Victor who had just
dropped a black two foot long snake under the desk against the opposite
wall.  He picked it up again and backed out from under the ...
Do you...23 Jun 2004 14:10 GMT37
Do you sing/talk to your furry friends?
Every morning while I get ready for work Pepper lounges in the
bathroom sink.  As soon as I get out of the shower and move to the
sink he stands up on his hind legs and puts his front feet on my chest
Cat cushion23 Jun 2004 13:33 GMT6
So I lay back on the bed to read a bit. Both Buster and Little Feet
are in the living room, watching Senyah crochet. Senyah is snippy
about stealing her yarn, so they just watch, heads bobbing up and
down, as the thread slowly snakes up out of the yarn bag.

One of my ex-tom ferals has been straining and dribbling. Looks like UTI to me. I went and got Amox. but I am going to have to try to slip it in something. Tuna or canned cat food maybe. I don't think there is anyway to catch him again. I didn't see him tonight after I got the ...

OT Frustrating evening23 Jun 2004 05:02 GMT10
Ah well, this has been one frustrating evening for trying to stay
logged on. We've been having a very dry couple months here, which
helped me forget that one of the common problems with out phone lines.
When we get heavy rain, or rain after dry spells, we have the devil of
Fearsome Foursome update (sorr if this is a duplicate, but after 4 hours, it seems to have gotten lost on my server)23 Jun 2004 04:52 GMT6
All four are doing fine - but we are still battling that nasty ringworm.  I
had a spot of it on my neck, but a few days treatment with Lamisil AT seems
to have gotten rid of it (at first it didn't seem to be working, but then I
covered it with a band-aid (it was a fairly small spot) ...
New litter box or new toy?(long)23 Jun 2004 04:37 GMT3
For the last year I have used two self cleaning littermaid litter
boxes for my cats.  Being cat's they managed to ruin the "comb" and

I have been hand scooping the boxes.  In addition the litter boxes
