You are minding your own business in the bathroom (specifically on the
can, or in the tub) when suddenly, the door flies open, and WHAM!!!
BANGNGNGNGNGNGS!!!!!!!! on the wall.  Does a maddened green giant with
bolts in his forehead come pounding in?  Where is the intruder???
I said pet me!!!28 Jun 2004 07:52 GMT9
Today I wanted to read my book peacefully, so I sneaked into the guest
bedroom (which we usually keep with a closed door to avoid having pounds
and pounds of cat hair accumulate there). I know nobody saw me, because
I was able to read alone for a good half an hour. Then I heard ...

Purrs for Persia - while I was out of town...28 Jun 2004 02:05 GMT28
I took her in to the vet to be boarded earlier than expected before my trip
last Thursday.  I found her peeing outside the litter box and blood in her
urine.  Another UTI.  So I scooped her up and took her in immediately.
Friday night when I was at my hotel in downtown Minneapolis ...
motorcycle wreck28 Jun 2004 01:32 GMT19
Sorry, until yesterday I didn't realize I'd forgotten to tell you about
wrecking my motorcycle. It hurts so bad to hold my arms up and type. .
.Anyway, I pulled up to a stop sign, looked both ways, gave it the gas,
let out the clutch, and drove right into the side of a Honda ...

I just got a very nice email from a longtime rpca lurker, Paulette, who
recently heard from Jen re Muggles getting a haircut, complete with photos!
Paulette asked me to post this for her so here it is.  Many thanks, Paulette
and her kitty Lucy, for sharing this with us; hope to hear ...
Persia's Doing Well27 Jun 2004 21:44 GMT11
The subject line should say it all.  Gosh, what a good cat I have!  She's
not fussing with her incision at all.  And she got over being pilled (thanks
for the suggestion, Flippy!) last night and curled up next to me after
kneading my side for a considerable length of time.
Persia Update27 Jun 2004 21:34 GMT1
Persia's doing well today.  She woke me up around 6 AM purring in my ear,
nuzzling my hair.  When I stirred, she gently bit my elbow and rubbed her
head on my arm. Awwww!  Such a sweet baby   She's acting pretty clingy;
wants to be held a lot.  That's okay with me.
New Foster Pics27 Jun 2004 21:33 GMT7
Hi All - sorry for not posting for a while, been extremely busy - water in
basement last week, broke desk and computer in same day, to say the least
been a bit hectic.  Belated purrs to any past requests, and hope all is well
with everyone.

About Hopitus27 Jun 2004 20:53 GMT20
I just heard from Hopitus. She is in Denver with son and his family.
Hop sprained her knee and has been taking it easy. but she has an
apartment and all her household goods arrived. With her sore knee it
will be slow going getting sorted out.
Feral purrs, please27 Jun 2004 19:54 GMT25
This morning I stumbled upon some kittens that could use some purrs.
I was delivering a load of fiberglass insulation to a company in
Livermore, California (just east of Oakland and San Francisco). It was
going to take a while to get my trailer unloaded, so I was walking
Mike - Thank You All27 Jun 2004 17:26 GMT4
Thank you all for your kind words; they have meant a lot to my DH and
me.  We still can't quite believe our Mikey's gone.  We will
eventually get used to walking around the house without looking where
we're going, wearing clothes not covered with white hairs, and turning
Bottle cap socker27 Jun 2004 07:43 GMT10
In the comics, Rose is a Rose", the kitten has been playing bottle cap
soccer on the kitchen floor. The goal is under the refrigerator. Ours do the
same. Inside the front hall closet is the rubber band collection.
Now, why do they drop their little soft toys in the water bowl or the
