In another newsgroup, we were discussing the false rumor about
"Swiffer" cleaning solution being harmful to cats.

Although OT, I  know that there are a lot of Babylon 5 fans here.
Richard Biggs, who played Dr Stephen Franklin on Babylon 5, went through
Rainbow Bridge on Saturday. He was 44.

Last night was my first night with Lorna, the one-eyed maniac cat and
her adopted brother Van Gogh. I'm sleeping over at their house for 3
nights (but these folks live nearby, so I'm home now, much to the relief
of the fuzzbutts in this house!).
My big brave boys02 Jun 2004 20:20 GMT3
A funny thing just happened.
I stepped out on the back porch to check on my three cats who were out
"hunting" and scared some deer who went running off into the lot next
door.
Purrs for Meanie, please02 Jun 2004 19:42 GMT27
One of the 4 kittens I'm fostering, Meanie, has developed a sore on the
bottom of one of her paws - it doesn't seem to bother her, but it has me
worried (in addition to a bald spot on her shoulder that was created by an
overzealous sister in one of their tussles).  She goes to TED ...
"We love you, Meowmy!"02 Jun 2004 14:17 GMT9
Sometimes I think my cats love me too much. And they are all jealous
to a degree. Take last night, for example...
I go to bed and roll over with a grateful, relaxing sigh. Then Sheba
climbs up on the bed from behind me and walks across my hair and top
MUST you follow me? (long)02 Jun 2004 08:04 GMT9
Okay, I love Persia.  I really do.  But today I was restless as I'm getting
ready for my trip to see John, my old/new love, in just a couple of days.  I
kept going to the computer room to use the phone to see how the art show was
going.  She'd follow me into that room.  I'd chat for ...
Rescued but very nervous02 Jun 2004 04:41 GMT18
My two cats were from the local cat shelter.   Both are neutered queens.  One is
called Buttons because she is white with black blotches.  She is exceptionally
friendly and loves to be petted.  Will always start purring loudly whenever I
touch her.   The other is a tabby, called ...
Hellooooooo02 Jun 2004 04:14 GMT18
Hi all, I feel out of sorts being gone for a week, now catching up on school
work. :(  Dallas was nice and warm, although I am disappointed no cowboys,
not even a horse in sight.  :(  Although the closest I came to "country" was
at Gilley's where I rode the mechanical bull and ...
Scary night02 Jun 2004 04:09 GMT7
I woke up at 3 am to the sound of rain and distant thunder.  D'oh!  I was
wide awake instantly and jumped out of bed and raced downstairs to unplug
the phone line going to the computer.  Storms have fried 2 of my modems
already, they are *not* getting a third!
Armadillo, Free To Good Home.01 Jun 2004 17:19 GMT4
OK, JoJo, here's your second chance to own your *very own* armadillo.
After reading the armadillo posts this afternoon, I caught the little butthead
in the act tonight. He has totally destroyed the back flower beds and grass. It
looked pretty good about 3 weeks ago. Now all that's ...

Happy birthday, Holly (9 years old - with photos)01 Jun 2004 13:49 GMT19
Holly will be 9 years old on June 1. Actually, that's her "official"
birthday. I was told when I adopted her (Nov. 25, 1995) that she was born in
"early June," and June 1 seems as "early" as possible. She had previously
been named Jinx because she was seen as a "bad luck cat" (which ...

Does anybody know where he is? I knew Dot wasn't feeling well for a while.
And while I'm at it, how's Senyah doing Mark?
