Leavin' in a white van12 Jun 2004 19:22 GMT14
We're leavin' in a white van,

the next stop is in Bristol...
OK, I'm writing off the cuff.  We're heading out on our trip early
Mean Meomie!12 Jun 2004 17:38 GMT3
Hi, this is Cougar sneaking on to my meomie's computer while she is doing
the laundry. I just have to tell you that she is so mean to me!  Last night,
she was putting lotion on her feet, so I had to go see if I could sneak a
lick or two.  I just LOVE her lotion, and she always tells ...

Another Kenzie pic12 Jun 2004 16:16 GMT9
I added another photo of Kenzie  to the RPCA photo album, in the
folder named Gandalf.
I scanned it at on my brother's computer, but I have his old scanner
now, with no manual, and software downloaded from someplace in the
bed time ritual with cats12 Jun 2004 08:17 GMT30
Do you have a bed time ritual with your cats?
I like to know where my cats are before I go to bed even tho the are indoor
cats. Cinnamon has been closed in a closet more than one time or left on the
porch. Before I turn out the last light in the kitchen I always say good
Sign in a Pet Shop12 Jun 2004 07:23 GMT17
I'm sure you've all seen these, but it was new to me.
I went to the pet store today to buy some pond supplies and I noticed
the following sign on the door: "Cat inside, in case of emergency,
Please rescue me." No doubt they're selling the decals, but I still
Purrs needed12 Jun 2004 06:53 GMT30
I could use a few purrs today. I ache all over from a traffic accident
yesterday, and I'm feeling sorry for myself.
There is a stop sign in a residential area near downtown that should be
a four-way stop but isn't. I stopped, gave a casual glance both ways,
Another Kenzie pic, on RBPA12 Jun 2004 01:04 GMT1
I posted another pic of Kenzie on RPCA. I'm still trying to figure out
how to use my newly acquired, second-hand scanner (no manual, but it was
cheap...)
In this pic you can see, sort of, the three orange and white rings on
Barn kittens see TED (update 7)11 Jun 2004 23:07 GMT17
The barn kittens had their first visit to TED this afternoon after Christine
got off work.  They were little angels during the exam.  Got wormed and
first shots. Very healthy, no earmites, no fleas, no URIs, good weight,
about 7 weeks old. Four boys and two girls. Four short hair ...

The world's biggest litter box11 Jun 2004 17:52 GMT5
Muddy can't believe what a considerate slave I am, I'm having some building
work done at the back of the house and the contractor has had to put about a
foot of soft builder's sand down over about a10x30ft area. Muddy, who never
could resist a clean litter tray is in cat heaven ...
Climbing the walls11 Jun 2004 13:30 GMT7
Our home was built about thirty years ago, when fully paneled
interiors were in fashion here.  This provides my boy Sumo (the Devil
Cat) a rare opportunity for an inside cat.  Every kitty has a
particular behavior that they exhibit when they get really wound up
Barn kittens update 611 Jun 2004 11:37 GMT7
Thanks for all the opinions on the ages and coats of the kittens. Guesses on
ages range from 5 to 9 weeks, depending on if the eyes are changing color.
Unanimous agreement that they are short hair from the best we can tell from
the photo.

I am indeed a catslave11 Jun 2004 09:25 GMT6
It was ungodly hot here yesterday -- 90 degrees and humid.  I was
waiting for a client (who never showed up -- I *hate* that!), all
windows wide open, back door open to the screen door, with a small
paper fan in my hand going full blast.  Brando jumped up on the couch
