Post Boarding Agitation15 Jun 2004 06:30 GMT13
Whew!  Got back this weekend from a 7 day visit with family and I had
one upset kitty returned to me at the cat kennel.  I don't know who did
what to whom but Oliver was very agitated for over 24 hours after we got
him home.  He has boarded plenty of times and always returned ...
Chester knows about shots15 Jun 2004 04:13 GMT15
Aw, do I feel terrible.  Today is vaccination day and Chester is just
sitting there looking at me.  He won't respond with his usual orgy of
delight when I say hi to him.  He just sits and stares.
He has had bad reactions in the past and last year he dragged around for 4
Weeble & Fearsome Foursome update15 Jun 2004 03:03 GMT11
Eenie is still the same little purrbag he was before, not much changed on
him.  They got their first shots on Friday, and TED asked me if I had heard
a couple of 'pops' in the middle of the night, and wondered what they were -
I said that *I* didn't hear them, that they just ...
good news about Tampa ferals15 Jun 2004 00:45 GMT2
the barn cats' good fortune prods me to report that all 6 kittens born
under the house in back of mine in Tampa have been placed.  A woman who
worked in the business there actually crawled under it to capture the
Pam S. Update14 Jun 2004 19:33 GMT2
Well, Pam called today. I was out and missed the call, but she left a message,
they are in West Memphis and will be here tomorrow, she will call back when
they get to OKC.
I'm so thrilled to get the opportunity to meet Pam and I hope Steve T., too.
The Scottish Fold14 Jun 2004 18:01 GMT5
For obvious reasons, I'm going to try to avoid names.
Imagine a 4 month old white cat with black sploches.  (Or a black cat
with white sploches, whatever suits your fancy)  Now make face white
with a splash of black diagonally across the face.  The nose is very
Barn kittens update 8 Mama trapped!14 Jun 2004 17:56 GMT29
Guys, those purrs are so powerful. Thank you.
I just got a phone message. Christine set the trap baited with smoked salmon
last night.  This morning the salmon was gone and the trap was empty.
She set it on a more sensitive setting this morning and baited it with
Barn kittens update 914 Jun 2004 17:56 GMT12
Well, all the kittens have new homes and mama cat came through surgery and
is back in the barn.
The kittens all purred and were friendly and cute and melted hearts.
One of the school counselors took Buddy and a brother they named Sylvester.
A question for Vino's momma14 Jun 2004 17:56 GMT15
Is Vino a Rumpy?
I was looking at his pictures and I noticed that he seems to have a bit
more of a tail than our local Manx. Our local Manx had no tail at all
and seemed to have more of a ruff than Vino. His owners gave it a
Back - and Mikey update (long)14 Jun 2004 17:56 GMT20
I had taken a break from the group for a little while, and I see that
I've missed a lot.  I will never, never catch up, but have been
reading and cheering on Annie's daughter, enjoying Jeanne's Best
Friends adventure, and admiring the beauteous Kenzie and the cuties
Mama Zoo UPDATE - keep purrs coming14 Jun 2004 17:56 GMT9
I'm not sure what it is, maybe it's the purrs you are sending my way, but
Mama Zoo has decided to eat on her own today!!!!!  AND it's staying down to
boot!  So far looking good.  Did call vet to leave message, although she was
off today (how rude taking a day off in Mama's time of ...
More on kitty ghosts14 Jun 2004 11:16 GMT11
I wanted to say "thank you" to you Norm for starting the earlier
thread on cat ghosts because your and the others' posts actually
helped me and Celeste last night.  Celeste has claimed since our Frodo
went to the RB in 2000 that she could see his ghost and it scared her;
Where does your kitty like to hide?14 Jun 2004 06:19 GMT24
When Cali was younger she liked to play hide and seek.
We have a dresser that has the drawers raised 6" off the floor, with a
scalloped front covering the space. This leaves a perfect space for a
devious cat to hide, as we found out. One day we were calling Cali for

Eli's New Favorite Spot14 Jun 2004 02:57 GMT2
When I saw it, I couldn't believe it. He was in the empty plastic-coated
wire dish drainer on the kitchen counter. How can it be the least bit
comfortable???
I didn't have the heart to chase him out. He now spends several hours a day
