Deo catches Bonnie16 Jun 2004 19:51 GMT17
To-day Deo struck.   Usually Clyde is the recipient of his charms!  But
Bonnie was out on her own when I heard the rumpus.  Deo took off when I
went outside but I knew exactly what had happened.  I called Bonnie for
ages and finally she limped into view.  I have never seen a more
Crazy mockingbirds16 Jun 2004 19:26 GMT21
So, as of late there has been a pair of mockingbirds hanging out near my
place. However, I was noticing that a lot of times, they start acting
insane. They jump along the fence, chirping loudly, even going as far as
to fly up and land on one of the terrace ceiling fan's blades ...

Oh dear16 Jun 2004 07:42 GMT11
This morning I took Francis to TED's place for his annual check-up and booster
jabs.
Francis was *not* a happy feline.
As soon as he saw TED (a pleasant lady), he gave her The Feline Look Of Death
Shrek 216 Jun 2004 04:42 GMT2
OK:  now I've seen it too.  I thought it was pretty darn funny (lots of
adult humour) and that Puss 'N Boots was absolutely hillarious.  *loved* the
cat.

Purrs for Bonnie please?15 Jun 2004 23:59 GMT43
She got her shots yesterday, and yesterday was fine. Today, though,
she is very lethargic and not eating. She's eaten a few pieces of dry
food (maybe a couple of mouthfuls all day) but she's usually very
piggy. I know this happens, and it happened to Shadow the last time
Barn kittens update from Christine15 Jun 2004 15:11 GMT5
I sent Christine the messages I received for update 9. Here is her response:
Hi Mom,
Thanks for the nice comments from your crazy cat group!  You can let them
know that the local restaurant owner called me back and left me a message
party tart15 Jun 2004 14:12 GMT6
We are in the midst of 3 very social weekends (unusual for us - we're
usually quite reclusive) - last weekend we had 6 members of Dave's
family visiting for 4 days, this weekend was a big BBQ lunch and next
weekend old friends are visiting for 5 days.  All this in aid of Dave

I am sitting here at my computer working on my resume when all of a
sudden I hear this great big commotion outside.
The local birds are screaming their little heads off.
I run outside and I see my "middle child" ( the big Maine Coon like
Been Wondering About15 Jun 2004 13:07 GMT5
Anybody heard anything from Jen?  She hasn't posted here in a long time and
I've been wondering about how she is.
Purrs that she and Kid and Muggles are okay.

My confession15 Jun 2004 07:49 GMT20
hey everyone,
I don't think I've really told everyone what I do besides being a
student.  I'm in school to be a Licensed Veterinary Technician.  So,
in a sense, I'm currently working with and going to school to help
Question about Frontline15 Jun 2004 06:40 GMT12
We have lots of ticks out on the island, and I've tried to find a way to
combat them because here in Finland, they carry a disease called Borrealia.
In the past, I've checked the cats every day, and pulled out any ticks I
found (it's even yuckier than it sounds - they are arachnids ...
Stupid, Stupid, Stupid People! (long)15 Jun 2004 06:36 GMT31
It's a RANT.  Pardon me if I've told this before, but I got something in the
mail yesterday which I didn't look at until today and it's set me off again.
(sigh)
For the most part vets and their tech's are really nice people (like our
