Now Buster is training squirrels!23 May 2004 19:58 GMT10
This morning, I looked out the window to see if Buster had come back
yet.
He had! There he was, sitting right by the pile of food near the door.
I started to open the door, but I noticed that he had a friend - a two
Meow Mix CD23 May 2004 18:13 GMT6
Needed a refill for the neighborhood kitty food bin, so went out and
bought some Meow Mix today, and found a CD for Meow TV inside.

First time I'd heard or seen anything about it, but from reading on
Bird Feathers in the shower23 May 2004 16:00 GMT15
Anyone wake up in the morning or come home to bird feathers in the shower,
or worse yet bird beaks, legs, feathers and guts on the carpet?  Our cats
are the best fed cats in Oklahoma, but they still love to have a good ole'
bird murder weekly.  We sometimes catch them and pry the ...
It's a Mystery...23 May 2004 12:08 GMT7
...what happened to Robin and he ain't talkin!
I have been on a week's vacation the last few days and have been
letting the cats outside for a few hours mid-day. When we are out and
about with them, they come and go frequently. When it is windy, they

So Mama Cat has a healthy litter of kittens who are now living on
my neighbor Doris' porch.
A week ago, when the kittens showed up there, Doris teased DH
that Mama Cat had  chosen her porch this time instead of ours.  Of

Cat afraid of fish23 May 2004 01:22 GMT7
Our oldest cat is deathly afraid of the Goldfish. It's not so much
afraid of the fish, as afraid of seeing them under the water. She's an
avid mouser, so it's not fear of the fish.
We got her from a cat rescue place a few years back. It seemed that she
Happy Anniversary Bonnie!22 May 2004 19:26 GMT12
I was going to post something about Bonnie's one year anniversary with me
this week, but I've been taking a class all week and actually forgot (bad
meowmie). May 17th last year was the day I trapped her and brought her to
be spayed, not even planning on keeping her. It dawned on ...

Off go Eenie Meanie Minnie & Moe to the TED22 May 2004 10:00 GMT16
They have their first visit to the vet this afternoon.  I'm going to put one
of our carriers on the front porch, opened with one of their sleeping towels
in it so they won't be so scared of it... not that anything scares Meanie -
well, OK, the lawn mower did yesterday (finally got ...
How does your cat wake you up?22 May 2004 07:41 GMT29
Cali has a number of tricks for waking me up for her 5:00 am feeding.
The subtle approach is too purr in my ear as loudly as possible. If
that fails it's time for Plan B. She knows that if the eyes are open
you're awake, so open the eyes (cat logic). This is usually
Brat cat update21 May 2004 22:57 GMT10
Recap for those who don't remember or didn't read my earlier post:  I
had been having a problem with cats wetting on my living room carpet,
but I was unable to find the spot.  I can smell it when I walk in
certain areas, but couldn't see anything.
ignorant person, stray cat, plus kittens equals disaster21 May 2004 22:37 GMT12
Someone on one of my regular email lists was telling all of us that
she'd taken in a stray cat that was about to have kittens. Today she
posted that the kittens had been born, and have been placed in homes
with different girls who live in her neighborhood!!! Two of the kittens
Feral Cats21 May 2004 20:43 GMT19
I was wondering if anyone on the list here has ever tamed a feral/
semi-feral cat?  And if they had some recommendations or guidelines for
going about this?
Thanks.
