I don't THINK so.27 May 2004 21:00 GMT14
Both of my cats are neutered/spayed.  They came to me that way.
But, the other day, as Sweetie lay quietly snoozing on my bed, Joe creeped
over, bit the back of her neck to hold her down, positioned himself gently
in a straddle over her as she growled indignantly, and promptly ...
Just A Heads Up27 May 2004 20:26 GMT1
I may be having to change my name or atleast my email server as I am being
bothered by a possible Identity(online thief)...sheeez....Just a heads
up....You hear that Yowie/ and Flippy?...I'll try my best to get back to you
rapidly If I do have to change emails and providers.... :-) ...
Your Cat's Names27 May 2004 20:11 GMT61
The names that we choose for our pets all have different meanings and
origins.  I was just looking to see if anyone had any interesting
stories about how they came up with the names of their pets.
I'm a TV freak so my cats' names are all from TV shows.  Ned, my

I finally got around to adding some more photos to my yahoo album.  I
added two folders, we met, and cat furnishings which included the
enclosure and the cat tree.  I also added photos of Adam and Mandy to
the "Friends and Family" album, more cat photos to the "Furry ones"
OT: Snake ID (Lyn?)27 May 2004 04:14 GMT25
It's me again, with the same question. There is someone on this group who knows
snakes, and I thought I'd ask. Sorry for the OT. But this critter is in my
cellar. We are in the middle of tornado season, and we just have to get it out
of there.
[OT] PING - The Poster formerly known as Wafflycathcs - re bites gone ugly27 May 2004 04:00 GMT9
Hi Helen, I'm a part-time lurker, although not much at all lately, in
this group and I've been searching for information on spider (or other
unknown creature) bites.  I ran across a post from you back in 2001 that
sounds similar to what has happened to my granddaughter, Madison.  I ...
I watched Shadow on the ShamCam today27 May 2004 03:38 GMT4
I feel like a voyer but it really gives me insight. Shadow also slept all
day, but he moved around a lot. He mostly stayed in view of the camera but
he would jump to the floor and lay sprawled out like he was dead for a long
time. Then he'd go back to the chair by the window ...
OT:  Job Purrs Requested27 May 2004 03:16 GMT29
Seems lately all things "old" are "new" again.  First it was my old/new love
from 23 years ago (that's going very well, by the way!).  Now, slightly less
than a month after losing my job of 11 years, I've been called by a company
I worked for 14 years ago (and was laid off from ...
Speaking of Fleas...27 May 2004 03:06 GMT4
I have a question.  Persia is an indoor cat but she does have that Kitty
Walk mesh enclosure on the patio.  I got her a flea collar which I put on
her when she's going to sit outside.  Soon it will be too hot for that.  I
leave it on for a day after she's been out there, then take ...
My own Monster27 May 2004 02:25 GMT2
Marina posted about Frank's obsession with going on walks now.  Persia has
also gotten obsessed since I introduced her to her 'kitty walk' on the back
patio.  She doesn't so much yowl as she does this pitiful little 'wooo!'
sound by the back door.
Please help26 May 2004 22:56 GMT2
I don't know if you can help me, whether you could all check the
locality we have lost our cat, and are desperate to find him.
He is a 1 year old male, black-and-white cat, with distinctive
black>markings over his head, answering to the name of Charlie.
Vet Again26 May 2004 22:02 GMT11
Grizzy didnt get to her check up with the vet as after being away for
weekend, i came home to find mistoffelees has been sick all over the lounge
carpet. As he had been sick a few times over the last week i decided he was
in more need of a visit.
Tucker might appreciate some purrs26 May 2004 22:00 GMT25
Since Saturday, Celeste and I have noticed that Tucker seems to be sore on
his left hip so I took him in to the vet today and it looks like he got bit
by some-furry-one here and might have the start of an abcess.  I left him at
the vet so they could anesthetize, shave and check his ...
A Kitten Song26 May 2004 21:57 GMT7
I loved this :)
When I was just a kitten,
My Mother said to me;
"Someday you`ll have a human pet,
I hate being trained26 May 2004 20:19 GMT12
By my reckoning, it is now 5:07 of the AM.  Why, you might ask, is
Bridget up at such a FREAKING, INSANE hour?  Well, it seems I am being
trained.  Tony is no longer content being fed his canned food at
bedtime.  Nooooooo.  Now, it seems that some must show up in his dish at
