Grizzy's birthday02 May 2004 11:26 GMT13
My mummy tells me i am two today. I am not sure about these birthdays but it
has meant quite a few treats and Mistoffelees has been very nice to me.
I  am hoping for a new ball as a present and Mummy mentioned something about
tuna for tea!

Lizard tastes better than Iams02 May 2004 05:09 GMT12
I've been wondering why Vino has been such a food hound lately.  Finally
clued in that he wasn't eating his dry food at all.  I put him in front of
the bowl and tried to get him to eat, but he stiff-armed the bowl and backed
away from it.  I dumped it and tried another flavour.  He ...
Warmer weather02 May 2004 04:46 GMT33
A sure sign of warmer weather... Waffles out in the garden in the morning and
within minutes I hear "MMMOOOWWZZ!" quickly followed by a small dead rodent
being dropped at my feet. Obviously she thinks I require protein for breakfast.
Yesterday's breakfast offering was a mouse. This ...
Pouring down rain...02 May 2004 03:57 GMT5
Luckily, no thunder so Persia isn't hiding.  But she's sitting in front of
the open window here in the front room, watching the rain fall.  Sometimes I
catch her nodding her head like she's tracking individual drops from up
above!

Okay - Furry stories01 May 2004 21:25 GMT5
How I got Sweetie was pretty straight forward... every time my sons and I
went to the Humane Society and fell in love, the cats were pre-reserved and
taken.
(Sidenote - I hate kittens.  Well, to own.  They are cute to play with and
Houdini?01 May 2004 18:37 GMT5
Dakota was giving Apache a bad time tonight - wanted to
play "chase and tag" and "wrestle".  She wasn't in the
mood and had told him so repeatedly ("HSSSSSS!
SPIT!!!!")

Buddy comes home, sort of01 May 2004 11:02 GMT26
Last fall i wrote about Buddy, an orange tabby, and Emanuel. Buddy
disappeared just before Halloween. The little boy was heart-broken.
Almost exactly six months later, just this past weekend, Emanuel and
his father were out in the open garage. They saw a scruffy orange cat
A lucky Iraqi kitty01 May 2004 10:10 GMT3
Here's one of the rare heart-warming stories from Iraq, about one kitty that
survived the horrors of the war and occupation there. If only the other
Iraqi cats could share the good fortune of "PFC Hammer". (Thanks to "Flippy"
in Australia for the heads-up.)
Big scare last night...01 May 2004 06:40 GMT39
Well, the big scare really didn't involve me, but it was still quite scary.
In the evening news, there was an item about a cobra being spotted in my
neck of the woods. It wasn't in my subdivision but in the same area where I
live. Witnesses said they saw the huge snake with it's ...
I swear he's growing hands . . .01 May 2004 05:38 GMT2
I had just gotten a case of cat food, and pulled one can off the top
and fed the cats.  A few minutes later, I looked down, and the pull
tab on the can underneath the one I grabbed was pulled up!  Trill was
sittng next to the box, looking nonchalant.  I *swear* he is growing
