Pearls before swine03 May 2004 02:10 GMT14
Today's Pearls before swine (it's a newspaper comic) is very funny, but
you need to read the whole week to get the idea.

Happy Walpurgis!02 May 2004 23:39 GMT17
Big bonfire night tonight around here!
Most cities/communities arrange bonfires for all and there will be choir
singing and sometimes other entertainment.
it's "party time " for teenagers/student, especially in university cities
Cats vs Thunderstorms in Arlington02 May 2004 23:34 GMT4
Well, last night we certainly had some heavy storms!
About an hour before the storms, Buster wanted outside. I told him to
be sure and come back before the storms got here.
Amazingly, he did! A few minutes after the lightening started, and a
Find Booty02 May 2004 23:22 GMT11
It's kind of slow tonight, so thought I'd post a pic I took today. See if you
can find Bootsie. She was *so* high up. She can climb like a monkey.
Actually, it's a horrible picture and I feel awful about it. I just hope there
weren't any baby birds in the house. I've got to have my ...
Funny Cat02 May 2004 23:15 GMT11
Your mileage my vary, but I came across this little girl unprepared,
and I wished I had had a BW.  This just cracked me up so much:

Bonnie is making progress with hoomins02 May 2004 22:13 GMT17
I have to take a break from reading the 300+ posts since last night to
announce that Bonnie now comes to my mom when she comes over. But only when
she is sitting on the couch and being quiet. Even when she doesn't go to
her, she sits and watches her like a hawk which is way ...
A Gift from Mai Kitty02 May 2004 21:51 GMT10
I figured I'd throw this story into the pot. Mai Kitty (pronounced my
kitty) is a calico that I rescued about 3 years ago. Sometimes, I think
she is an angel from God. I have rhematoid arthritis and her love has
kept me going.
What's the biting about?02 May 2004 15:49 GMT11
Okay, Persia has snuck up on me and done this before.  But more and more
lately, she's walking up when I'm sitting down with bare legs (usually when
I'm on the toilet!) and gently biting me on the knee or the shin.  When I'm
on the sofa reading, she's biting my elbow or the side of ...
Hey that's mine!02 May 2004 15:15 GMT13
Dreary day here in SW OK, cloudy and rain off and on all day. A little
while ago, during a brief break in the clouds, the sun came out for a
few minutes. Little Bit wanted to check and see if any of the
neighborhood cats on been around, so I decided I'd put on the girls
I set the baby bunny free02 May 2004 15:12 GMT10
I hope I took him far enough from the house that the cats won't find him
again. Both last night and this morning he wanted half as much milk as
normal. That's because he's been eating all the goodies I've been leaving in
his nest box. He seems to be ready for self-sufficiency, so ...
Chipping my Cats02 May 2004 15:08 GMT13
Our three cats go in and out as the please, and even though we live in
a fairly safe, cat friendly environment, if they don't come home every
day, I get worried. They all wear collars with tags, but they loose
them often.
Guess which one I would take?02 May 2004 14:46 GMT6
Too funny when all are looking at one thing, but there is always someone
looking at something else. What does he see? Is he in another plane?

Purrs, please, for barebabies02 May 2004 13:34 GMT19
I mentioned earlier that I was going to be the great-grandma of twins
in June.  Just got a call from Stephanie (my daughter) that Danielle
has gone into the hospital.  It looks like the little ones are trying
to get here early!!  They are going to try to stop the contractions
