[OT] GTA:Vice City04 May 2004 20:44 GMT11

He loves the game play.
I love the soundtrack that comes with it.
Ok, I admit, I am a pathetic 80's addict. But the Grand Theft Auto: Vice
Annie - DH update04 May 2004 17:32 GMT8
Annie left me a message on my cell, her hubby is currently in recover from
back surgery.  It went well.  I'll know more tomorrow, she'll be staying
w/him throughout the day and nite - and of course cell phones are a no-no in
hospitals.

AAARRGH! THE GIANT BUGZ IS COMING!04 May 2004 14:51 GMT13
Hagerstown, Maryland -- When millions of cicadas emerge across the eastern
United States for a rare mating season, they will appear as tasty morsels to
pets who could get sick from eating the insects, officials warned.
The insects are protein-rich but their hard outer shells can ...
Any updates on the Buddy/Emmanuel front?04 May 2004 11:20 GMT3
I recall a little while ago someone posted that Buddy might have
returned to his old neighborhood. Any updates on that situation? I'm
keeping my fingers crossed that he really is near home again, and can be
re-socialized quickly.
Bruiser the Brawler04 May 2004 06:22 GMT3
Bruiser just had his first big cat fight. I wouldn't say he won but he
wasn't backing off.  Normally any real violence just confuses him. I
heard two cats fighting out front.  Not screaming but fighting. I ran out
there pretty sure it wasn't Maya. Maya's fights tend to be quick ...
I ache, but the cats are happy04 May 2004 05:22 GMT21
I ache, but the cats are happy
I spent much of the day in the garden. I've mowed the lawn. After I was
finished doing that, I stood back and surveyed my work and discovered I'd mowed
a mouse... YUK. Then I attacked the undergrowth on the banks of the stream

Barebabies - update and thanks04 May 2004 02:47 GMT9
Thank you all SO very much for all the encouragement and good thoughts
for Danielle's twins.  They're holding on so far.  Baby A ran into
some trouble, though, so a Caesarean is in the works.  Baby B is fine.
They will try to keep them "quiet" until at least Wednesday to give
Buster acclimatizing04 May 2004 00:50 GMT6
Buster is getting more used to being here.
I always put a separate bowl of food out for him, so that he knows he
is welcome. Now, there are also two full bowls in the kitchen, where
Little Feet eats.
Good vibrations03 May 2004 22:38 GMT6
Vino just loves to hang out at the base of our fans.  We have a couple of
big stand-up fans in the living room and they are on all day.  Vino lies up
against the base of them, using the ledge to lean up against.  He looks like
a real cool, smug dude when he does it.  Maybe the ...
"Walkies"03 May 2004 17:53 GMT11
My neighbor Doris has two cats one of which is a natural hunter
like my Puss Puss (RB) used to be.  Tootie sat over a gopher hole for
three days one time till she finally got her prey.
She's a compact little cat, whose color scheme can best be

(OT) I'm just SOOOOOO happy03 May 2004 03:47 GMT19
I know this is SO off topic but I watched the Kentucky Derby and oh man
Smarty Jones is a legend now. I don't know if anyone else follows the game
but this was indeed memorable by any standard. Can Smarty be an honorary
cat?
All hail the mighty huntress!03 May 2004 02:11 GMT21

I'm sitting in the office... I hear rustling in the caorner. I look over and
