Is there something about strawberries?08 May 2004 15:12 GMT2
Whenever I get fresh strawberries I get very interested cats, particularly
Midnight.  She rubs her face all over the carton and practically rolls on
the kitchen counter.  I've offered her one and she sniffs it but hasn't
eaten it -- are strawberries related to catnip?
Harvey trapped me08 May 2004 15:03 GMT6
So I lean the recliner back. Harvey jumps on the foot rest and lays down.
Since the remote has been nonfunctional ever since the beginning of
Remote-Broken-Time I'm stuck watching Whose Line Is It Anyway.
Fortunately it was some decent ones.
Purrs for a kit08 May 2004 14:49 GMT18
I have a 11 week old little white and gray girl kit, Gabby,  who isn't
feeling well. She hasn't eaten (other than what I have force fed her) in
almost 24 hours. She is going to the vets tomorrow to be checked out. She is
pitiful, as she acts like she wants to eat, but sniffs it and ...

Purrs for my old/new Love08 May 2004 14:49 GMT21
John is in the hospital.  He has (they think) diverticulitis.  I'm not
convinced of that since he said he felt something "pull" while helping a guy
carry something.  Hernia, anyone?
Tests show it's not appendicitis and he is convinced he will be able to go
pleasant memory08 May 2004 14:16 GMT4
Earlier this week, when it started raining, Quinn looked up with fear in
his eyes, and slunk off toward the hallway then reversed and slunk
downstairs to hide in the basement turmoil.  Well!, I thought.  Not seen
New clothes?08 May 2004 10:58 GMT34
I thought I'd got myself some new clothes by mail order, but apparently
all I had got was a pile of bedding for Laku.

Next Sunday they will be 12 weeks old and most of them will be going to
their new homes then. I wish I had time to go and see them one last time,
Swiffer Wet Jet Hoax08 May 2004 09:34 GMT14
There is apparently a internet letter being circulated saying that the
swiffer wet jet cleaning system uses something similar to atifreeze in
the cleaner and that it can kill dogs and cats.  I did some research
after someone passed the letter on to me and it seems to be a hoax ...
The kidlets have arrived!!!08 May 2004 09:23 GMT20
Stephanie called this morning to let us know that twins Ayden and
Logan arrived via C-section at approx 8:30 EST (7:30 CST for us).  All
went well; Danielle was in recovery and is A-OK.  Not too many details
yet but Stephanie said they were both yelling up a storm.  No exact
Nikki saw TED08 May 2004 09:21 GMT20
I took Nikki to see TED today, because she has been wheezing pretty loudly,
i.e. her asthma is acting up. TED gave us a course of cortisone tablets. She
also checked Nikki's liver and kidney function and blood glucose, and was
amazed at the results. She said that everything was ...
Purrs please: the bloodbath08 May 2004 07:04 GMT16
I came home today to find blood everywhere. In the staircase, all over the
kitchen into the dining room, in our bedroom, on the guest bed, by the
litter boxes. I don't know whose it was, the cats are all a little skittish,
but not apparently injured.
Jeanette, did you find McCavity?08 May 2004 07:02 GMT25
Just checking.... I do hope he has come home by now!
RB Tiger08 May 2004 05:55 GMT25
My sister's cat Tiger had a heart attack last night and  had to be put to
sleep. She was an older cat, in her teens. Several years ago a lady in her
Sweet Adelines choir had to move and she took in the ladies cat Tiger. I
think tiger was around 8 then. She's had her at least 5 years ...
