Update on the long lost Bridget11 May 2004 01:51 GMT17
Sorry I haven't been posting.  Last fall that virus thing came through
and inundated my computer and drove me so nuts that I couldn't stand it
so I just read for a while.  It has only been just lately that I have
been brave enough to post again.  And no viruses!!!  YAY!!!!!!  ...
UPDATE - Yertle foster kitten11 May 2004 01:47 GMT16
Tomorrow is the big day, Yertle, Max and Sam go back to the shelter to go up
for adoption.  You may remember Yertle - the little guy that my dog bit on
the face.  He's been doing quite well and has started nibbling on dry food,
but primarily eats canned.
FLV+ and FLV- kitties together?11 May 2004 01:45 GMT3
I was just wondering what people thought about having FLV+ and FLV - cats
together. I was told you shouldn't have them together. Even if the negative is
vaccinated, they can still get FLV from the other cat over time. I had an FLV+
who became a negative who now lives with a negative ...
Happier cat stories in the news11 May 2004 00:52 GMT2
Here's a local story (RealMedia video) about a cat that accidentally
got Fed-Ex'ed by a woman who owns 12 cats.  They show various shots of
her cats lounging around the house, and they're very cute.  It's not
clear in the video which cat is the actual cat in question, because
Harvey and nightmares11 May 2004 00:02 GMT2
So I woke up a few hours before normal out of a crazy dream. I was still eighty
percent asleep and I didn't want to fall back asleep because I knew the crazy
dream would just continue. Suddenly, there is Harvey, being all purry and
loveable. -Being- eighty percent asleep I thought ...
Question about Grayness the cat10 May 2004 22:51 GMT5
who needs surgery. When we call the Vet Clinic to contribute, who do we say
we want the money to go to? I want to make sure I am giving my donation to
the correct cat. Is the cat known as Grayness or what? Does everyone in this
clinic know which cat we are talking about when we ...
Pics of Laku on the balcony10 May 2004 20:30 GMT24
Don't know if anyone remembers me talking about how I worry about Laku
jumping up on the balcony banister. Well now that all snow is away and
the sun is back I managed to snap a couple of pics of him sitting on the
banister, head wooshing this way and that way, looking at the ...
Photo: JoJo & Annie10 May 2004 19:29 GMT11
Hello group,
I've put a photo of JoJo and me on RPCA Yahoo photos.  The album is called
Annie's Photos. (Original, huh?)  It also includes a picture of Rosie.
Cinder won't hold still long enough for a photo.
Harvey AKA Cat10 May 2004 19:12 GMT21
How many of you, despite the names for your felines, end up calling them 'Cat'
a lot?
Pippin and Fizz update10 May 2004 17:15 GMT5
It's been 5 days of the boys being on medication, and of not allowing Fizz
access to any non-prescription cat food.  Pippin is a bear to pill, and too
smart to fall for the pill hidden in the food trick.  Fizz is easier to
pill, and has, at least this morning, eaten a pill hidden in ...
Happy Mother's day!10 May 2004 17:01 GMT4
It's Mother's Day here in the US.  Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers of
human and animal children, and to the dads who act as mothers. This is my
first Mother's Day as a mom of human child, and I'm enjoying it immensely.
I have to say though, that when I cross the RB someday and ...
Maiden Voyage of the Cat Stroller10 May 2004 02:29 GMT8
We had our first walk about with Oliver's new stroller.  He seemed
pretty comfortable about the whole thing and didn't dive into the
"privacy" area at all.  He did crouch down a time or two when we saw a
car (he is terrified of automobiles except if he is riding in one) but
TED visit09 May 2004 22:16 GMT9
Milo's got a sore eye, I think Snoopy may have scratched him, so I took
him to the vet yesterday to make sure it was nothing serious. She gave
me some drops to put in his eye four times a day and will see him again
next week.
RW Intrusions (kind of longish)09 May 2004 21:50 GMT14
Well, my busy season is starting, and I was off taking care of
business and off line for a couple days. I started reading the many
messages, ended up skipping/deleting a couple hundred to catch up with
the group. So am sending happy purrs, health purrs, and sad comforting
Annie - back home & thanks09 May 2004 21:03 GMT22
Jim and I want to thank you for all the support during his back surgery.
Special thanks to JoJo for sending the updates and for the most interesting
Pittsburgh tour on Saturday. And the weather was perfect, too.
Jim & I arrived home late last night.
