Prescription oddities for Frontline flea control13 May 2004 21:14 GMT5
I have 2 moggies, both female and very affectionate.  Both from a cat shelter
after languishing there for over 4 months.   So very appreciative of their new
home and yes, I spoil them rotten. Both sleep on my bed at night (and in the day
if they can).
Big brave *nglish postmen ... Sheesh!13 May 2004 20:15 GMT20
Cat Maims Postman Pat
Cranbrook, *ngland (The Sun) -- Scaredy-cat postmen are refusing to deliver
mail to a house because they are scared of a dangerous wee kitty.
They say their hands are being ripped to shreds by ginger tom Bat as they
A Lion or Just Lyin'?13 May 2004 18:35 GMT31
For about a week now, we've had stories in my area (Columbus, Ohio),
of numerous sightings of a lion wandering around the edges of the
city!  Although officers and the Humane Society have been called out
many times, no one has yet to find the lion.  No one knows whether
A Tisket, A Tasket....13 May 2004 18:14 GMT23
In my neverending mostly unsuccessful attempts to get organized and get a
handle on clutter (which I hate)..
Hobby Lobby had all wicker baskets 1/2 off, so I bought 3. One large one for a
clothes hamper, one medium one to put beside DH's recliner for his
surprise13 May 2004 17:58 GMT11
Last night late the Yehudah menage were almost all in a state
approaching catalepsy, zonked out by a mind-numbing program on tv that
Patty insisted on watching, when suddenly there arose such a clatter I
sprang out of bed (or off the couch) to see what was the matter. .
Gabby girl13 May 2004 11:59 GMT8
Thanks so much for the purrs for Gabby! She is back to her old self,
attacking her brother and following me around, meowing all the time! She has
to comment on everything! We still don't know what was wrong, but it seems
to have run its course!

Heavy snowfall - pics13 May 2004 06:16 GMT3
I took these pics at 10 AM so we're only a few hours into it.  It's not
going to stay long but it sure is pretty so far - only a few hours into the
snow too!  A couple pics in there of a few days ago when it was hot and
green too.  Even one cat related picture!
OT:  Heavy Snowfall Warning13 May 2004 06:15 GMT16
You know,  we don't live in igloos or drive ski-doos to the shopping center
up here; however, our annual spring storm is upon us and there is a heavy
snowfall warning for today.  The grass is green, the trees are in leaf and
blossom, and the hummingbirds are here BUT ...
A problem with Felix13 May 2004 03:39 GMT7
I installed Felix and he works fine. I also installed the extras, kitty,
food, toys, mischief. None of these work, or have started working for me
yet. How long does it take before some of the extras start popping up?
When I installed them I got the message SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED ...

OT: Mis-heard song lyrics13 May 2004 00:51 GMT33
I turned on the radio this afternoon and heard "Hotel California" (the
original version).  I always adored that song from the moment it was
released by The Eagles in 1976.  But, in the course of the lyrics I remember
hearing "Goodnight said the madman"... of course, it was the ...
Homing Purrs13 May 2004 00:06 GMT38
That Bloody Invisible Cat!
McCavity has gone AWOL, as of approximately 8 p.m. last night. I suspect
that he's got himself stuck in someone's shed, and I will be leafletting the
area later today. In the meantime, can I have some MAJOR homing directions
