Felix -Stinky15 May 2004 16:16 GMT4
Felix looks amazingly like my Stinky (except for that white blob at
the end of his tail).  He even has the same kind of happy little walk
and goofy little smile Stinky does.  I always thought Stinky looked
kind of like a cartoon.
Who says cats can't talk?15 May 2004 16:13 GMT11
Usually, when I go to bed, Grant gets on my right side, Pearl on my left and

night sleeping in the catnapper looking out the window. Pearl saw this as an
excellent opportunity to sleep between my legs. So, ...
Brazen Red-Pawed Thievery (long)15 May 2004 10:56 GMT5
We have some majorly spoiled "masters" in the house and they sure have their
meowmie going these days.  I'm talking especially about Omar and Midnight --
the 2 kitties most displeased with Tucker's presence and who are exacting
revenge.  Omar, in particular, my slim ticked-off ...
Brat Horse  BW15 May 2004 10:55 GMT10
I've heard of Brat Cat's, I have one.  But, until this week-end I had never
heard of a brat horse.
My friend Jeanne has a horse named Red, he is 13 years old, 17 hands tall,
chestnut color, and according to Jeanne "ill-behaved."  Jeanne overslept on
Prayers needed - lost foster15 May 2004 06:30 GMT25
My foster babies went in for surgery Monday.  As with any surgery, be it
human or animal, regardless of age, sometimes they don't make it.  Sadly,
Sam, one of my fosters did not make it.  I had to go to the shelter
yesterday and identify the remaining white kitten.  Yurtle was to be ...
Question about household cleaners15 May 2004 02:34 GMT41
So I'm changing the litterbox again. I just changed it about a week
ago, and that's way too soon for clumping litter. I scoop it daily,
but I should expect to have to change it completely only once every
two or three weeks. The problem is, after I put the new litter in
Horse sense (OT)(Long)15 May 2004 01:18 GMT31
My DW gives me so much entertainment it ought to be illegal.
Some of you may recall I got her a horse for her birthday, almost
exactly the color of the Budweiser Beer horses, but smaller. Patty gets
a big kick out of riding him, because he is a professionally trained

a tale of two kitties14 May 2004 22:26 GMT3
Actually ... six!  Behind my house in Tampa there lives a couple ferals.
I was worried for them (Franz's disappearance 2 years ago) but as it
happens Jessica in one of the small businesses had been feeding them.
Clyde in Hot Water14 May 2004 20:27 GMT6
I have to face the fact that we are owned by two diabolically naughty
Burmese.   Last night was the absolute pits.
DH (suffering with a sore shoulder) decided to have a spa bath.   He
turned on the hot tap and let it run for a few minutes before he diluted
Good News:  We are Seven Now14 May 2004 14:53 GMT8
Didn't want anyone to think that anything bad happened to any more of
the owners, but we've lost another of our babies.
Jim adopted Honor after Rascal went to the bridge.  She lived with us
because Jim's mom didn't want any more cats around than their big
Great news about Grayness!!14 May 2004 13:41 GMT15
Hey everyone,
I just got off the phone with the vet clinic and Grayness went home
today!  She's doing just fine after her hip surgery.
They performed an FHO, or Femoral Head Osteotomy.  Basically they trim
my old Simon just gets cuter14 May 2004 13:36 GMT10
Last night when I got home I found my 21-year-old ginger guy
Simon fast asleep on his pillow, snoring, with a ball of wool
between his front paws.
Alas, my camera batteries were flat :(
busy day but a few cats14 May 2004 12:57 GMT2
Yesterday was running a few errands and fun.  Met Johanna from ages-ago
work and her 22 or 23yo long-haired calico, Nutmeg.  A beautiful cat,
shy but accepted attention and warmed up quickly.  From there we visited
