Cats training their hoomin31 May 2004 22:07 GMT16
But not how you'd expect ;-)
Nathan has his bike hooked up to a turbo trainer, and he's doing a heavy
hour-long session of interval training on it (the sweat is pouring off him...).
Sat on the ground in front of him are three felines... watching intently.
Another one moves in!31 May 2004 14:32 GMT11
I must have MUG tatooed on my forehead.
I have been adopted by a stray cat. He's a very large grey tom cat
who has pitched up in my garden looking very scraggy and un-loved.
HRFL Tiger beat him up, but he still came back. He's moved in, and I've
Shrekking All the Way (a movie review)31 May 2004 12:10 GMT6
Usually a movie sequel is not as good as the original.  Shrek 2 is one
of the exceptions.  We went to see it Friday night and are still talking
about the movie.
Princess Fiona's parents find out that she has married and invite her
ANOTHER TERRIBLE "THING" IN THE HOUSE31 May 2004 12:01 GMT5
Earlier this evening, we were working on our various art projects.
There was some "drama" on the TV, which we were more-or-less ignoring.
The older furpeople were snoozing while the two youngsters amused
themselves in the kitchen.

I have a friend (someone I met through another newsgroup) who is moving
from the San Fernando Valley (in California) to Reno, Nevada.  There are
two or three cats in her neighborhood who visit her house regularly.
She feeds them and puts water out for them, and brings them in for a

For Adopted Cats-Ever Wonder What Their Life Was Like Before You Adopted Them?31 May 2004 05:58 GMT39
I adopted Sabastian and Kona as adults, meaning they both have a
"past".  I know something about Kona's background was because he was
turned into the clinic (which houses cats for adoption as well in
conjunction with a rescue group) as an 11 year old by the family that
Poor Frank.31 May 2004 05:18 GMT25
Frank has been fighting, has gotten an abscess on his side/shoulder. I took him
to T.E.D. this afternoon, just expecting him to clean it, give us antiobiotic
and send us on our way. Instead, he wanted to sedate him to debride it more
thoroughly and probably put a drain in it. So he ...
I have created a monster31 May 2004 05:04 GMT11
Some of you may remember that last spring, Frank was frightened by a little
girl in our yard, and he didn't want to go outside after that. This spring,
I've gradually convinced him again that it's safe to go outside. In the
beginning, I put the harness on him and opened the door, ...
Mischievous Weeble (long)31 May 2004 05:02 GMT7
Last night, I noticed that Weeble was in the dining room, really intent on
playing with a particular 'toy'.  It was rather small, so I was unable to
tell what it was from a distance.  Thinking it might be some sort of
squishable insect, I went to investigate - and lo & behold, he ...

Hey everyone,
Got an email from someone who wrote a letter to Micheal in attempt to
help out with Grayness.  She was unable to donate, but sent well
wishes and suggested a low litter box.   Her name is Paulette and she
