"Interesting" Obit22 Apr 2004 06:58 GMT12
Since I've reached the stage in life where I've been reading the obits
to see if I'm on the list yet, in reading them this morning I found
one a bit unusual.   A beloved lady had passed on and, of course,
there was a list of survivors - - husband, son, step-sisters and
Sammy's new hiding place22 Apr 2004 05:34 GMT9
I written before about Sammy and thunderstorms. She starts making
herself scarce long before I see the first flash or hear any thunder.
When I wake to the fact that a storm is rolling in and she's hiding, I
find her and tell her everything is ok.
Cat Urban Legends22 Apr 2004 02:47 GMT2
I just was pointed to a web page that encompasses two of the
interests I follow with Usenet.  It's a cat urban legend page located
at: http://www.messybeast.com/urbancat.htm.
Lots of interesting things to see and read, including a picture
Simeon's Home21 Apr 2004 22:11 GMT8
Simeon, our adoptive son who's name I added to the Christmas card list
came home at 4 am Friday morning.  His biological dad had driven over
from Washington State and Rob, Mandy, and I were there to greet him.  He
looks good, though his skin is a bright red which makes that red ...
Jewish cat?21 Apr 2004 21:43 GMT41
This has to be the darndest thing I've ever seen in my life. I clicked
my way into Jewishmusic.com on the Web and found a listening station
where I could sit and listen to -- guess what?-- Jewish music. By
clicking on the songs, I could hear some of the finest Jewish music
Foster Kitty Needs Purrs21 Apr 2004 17:35 GMT23
Hi gang.  I've had a rough week.  First off on Tuesday my father passed out
on the floor.  I'm thinking he had a heart attack, immediately call 911.
Long story short - one heart med he was on caused him to have heart palps so
he took three nitro tablets - that mixed w/the heart meds ...
Purr request21 Apr 2004 17:30 GMT29
I don't often do this do I? But it's a bad night. My mother's cat, her
darling 14 year old Lulu, is in the vets with severe constipation, and will
be having a very expensive enema tomorrow. Purrs please that this will sort
her out, and that there isn't anything more sinister wrong. ...
purrs urgently needed21 Apr 2004 17:24 GMT17
I just found out a dear friend of mine on IRC had a car crash yesterday and
is still unconscious.  Send your purrayers and purrs to wolfgrl in NY.

I'm the worse daddy in the world!21 Apr 2004 15:01 GMT29
This morning I decided it had been long enough and it was time to dose
the Fantastic Seven (TM) with Revolution (a topical medication for
fleas, ticks, worms, and all kinds of parasites). I got the seven vials
and put them in my pocket. Fez and Rufous took it and didn't even ...
Thank You, RR21 Apr 2004 14:40 GMT2
I had to spend two nights in DC to attend my adorable big fat
red-headed six-month-old nephew's christening.  When I am away for one
or two nights, I leave Stinky home, and a friend comes in to feed him,
etc.  I was anxious, because Stinky tends to overgroom when left alone
Ping Hobbes Cook21 Apr 2004 07:00 GMT14
Hey, Hobbes!  This is your buddy Mike - I wanted to thank you for the
get-well present and the card.  You have awfully neat handwriting for
a cat.
That thing in the bag - it smells awfully interesting, but did you
The best cat game ever21 Apr 2004 05:12 GMT8
The family cat we had as I reached adulthood was The Puddy.  He
and I played a great game together.  He loved to chase objects that
were rolled across the floor to him  The way our game started was, we
would go up into my room where I kept a small jar of pennies.
Dude, I'm Gettin' a Dell21 Apr 2004 04:13 GMT82
Whoa. I'm getting a new computer for my birthday. I'm so excited. (Even though
it's just a cheapo Dell)....BUT I now have a circa 1996 Packard Bell, with
Windows 95. I can't open half the websites people post, and if I do, it takes
forever (if the thing doesn't just lock up). Forget ...
Who says cats aren't affectionate and don't care for their owners?21 Apr 2004 04:07 GMT15
Heya folks!
So last night I was sitting there using the computer, and Lynxie's food
bowl was between the door and me. I noticed him come into the room, walk
RIGHT PAST the food bowl, rub himself against and around my ankles,
Sorry I disappeared21 Apr 2004 03:23 GMT4
At the beginning of the month, things got really hectic around here.  Dennis
came back from Burma and 2 days later my friend Raymond from Canada showed
up and then the next day my other friend Holly showed up.  On top of that,
my maid took 3 weeks holiday with no warning.
