Curiosity caught the cat27 Apr 2004 23:09 GMT7
A quick note to drop in and say hi. My mom is visiting us from Mexico,
so I haven't had time to read the group. Purrs to all in need though.
We took mom to Houston to visit Tom's parents and the art museum there
(it's really good). She closed the door to her room before we left
Eternal Sunshine (OT)27 Apr 2004 15:59 GMT2
I highly recommend Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I just saw it and
it is such an unusual movie, somehow sweet, sad and funky at the same time.
Really enjoyable.

New UR Food27 Apr 2004 05:30 GMT27
Persia has been suffering from urinary problems lately, so I got some new UR
(urinary tract) food for her.  I opened the bag of this new stuff tonight
and she went NUTS.  Gimme, gimme, I want it, now!  Sheesh, you'd have
thought I was offering her a can of salmon!  Crunch, crunch, ...
Cat Shipped from China27 Apr 2004 01:14 GMT12
http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/South/04/16/shipped.cat.ap/index.html
In summary, this article (with photo) is about what happened when a
man in Tampa, Florida opened a crate of bird cages that had been
shipped to his business from China - out jumped a cat. The crate had
Purrs asked for26 Apr 2004 22:42 GMT21
I know I mostly lurk these days, but please could HRFL Tiger and Pandora
have some purrs and good thoughts? They are both having major dentals
tomorrow and I am worried sick.
I'm particularly stressed because Tiger has quite a serious heart
O.T. spinal surgery & RPCA we will meet26 Apr 2004 22:40 GMT50
DH will have his spinal surgery Thursday, April 29, in Pittsburgh.
We will be gone almost a week, and Cinder and Rosie will receive twice-daily
visits from the cat sitter. I hope they will not be too upset that we will
be gone so long. If you get any strange posts from this computer ...
Wonderful Poem About Cat's Life26 Apr 2004 18:23 GMT5
I found this on a website recently.  I thought it was sooo sweet:
A Cat's Life
My first memory.
Snuggling in Mommy's warm fur.
strange niffs26 Apr 2004 14:02 GMT1
Vernon took my car in to be serviced this morning. The courtesy car he has come
back in is actually the private car of the receptionist. She has a d*g. When
Vernon pulled up in the driveway, Waffles & Francis were out in the sun. Seeing
Paw in a different vehicle necessitated a good ...
Yet another stormy OK night26 Apr 2004 13:59 GMT3
'nother storm here - guess I might as well stop posting about them
since they're be a regular thing this time of year. The weatherman
said the other night that the storms would probably start hitting a
little further west each day, and he was right this time. Last time we
B & C - A Dose of Bad Medicine26 Apr 2004 08:33 GMT10
John found the half-used cake of soap in the middle of the lounge.   I
followed the trail of various type pills through the dining-room and
down the hallway.   John found the eye dropper and the bandages on the
floor of the bathroom. Other medicines were all around the wash-basin
Misty and the mother-in-law26 Apr 2004 06:18 GMT6
My beloved Misty (RB) used to play in a ball game all of her own.
One of the things she loved to do was torment my mother-in-law,
Eliana.  At one time, we lived in a lovely apartment with a loft
bedroom that overlooked the living room.  There was a three and a half
Ping: Annie25 Apr 2004 22:28 GMT1
Annie I missed leaving a msg on your thread about Jim.  Belated purrs,
prayers and doggy licks that he has a (fairly) painless recovery.
Prayers for you too. It's hard to take care of ailing husbands sometimes
;o).
Spainy (Blog)25 Apr 2004 22:01 GMT2
A while ago, there was alink to a great Blog that featured Spainy the Cat.
The authoress was a talented writer, and was either studying (or had
graduated with) a degree in something like classic literature or something
that effectively required her to have very good writing skills.
