It's been a while since I updated you on Yertle the kitten my dog bit.  He
has adjusted beautifully, and is dealing with his handicaps with typical
kitty attitude - what handicaps? :)  I am also 99% positive he is deaf on
top of his other disabilites, this not due to the dog, I ...

I shut the bathroom door but must have missed latching it properly.   It
proved a cinch to open for a couple of dedicated thieves.   When I
finally discovered their lock-picking activities they had opened the
medicine cabinet.

This morning I woke up with lower back pain, to the point that I could
barely walk. I called in sick.
First thing I did was to soak in a tub of hot water, to relax the back
muscles.

To *everyone* - thank you. It's the morning of the first big day. I have a
sneaking suspicion I'm more nervous than he is....
It's a dull, grey, damp day - I just hope it's not an omen of bad things...
