This morning I settled into my home office to enter expenses etc. in a
ledger. Emily, my grey feline assistant, padded across the desk to help. I
turned to answer the phone, forgetting I'd left the rubber stamp-pad open.

I am curious. Every once in a while I read the phrase "feeling well in
Your/her/himself". Is this a phrase from a particular region? I find in an
interesting phrase and just wondered where it is most prevelant.

Early last Thursday morning (2-20am) Phoebe started delivering her kittens,
by 3-30am she had 6 beautiful babies and seemed happy and content so I
cleaned up, leaving her to settle down and purring her head off and saying
to me aren't I just a clever girl, I went back to bed, later ...

The other night, Frank was on the bed, washing his tummy in the near-cello
position. I lay down beside him and gazed adoringly at him. He stopped
washing and looked at me with that "what are *you* looking at" look on his
face. Then suddenly he turned his head upside down and flopped ...

Whenever I get home, once I sit down at the computer Mischief works
her way onto my hap to be petted.  She loves it when I scratch her
back at the base of the tail, and when I scritch her forehead at the
same time.  She loves it so much, she drools.

Gloria came over today with a small beagle in her arms that she had found
while she was walking in the woods, checking the fences. I was scared when I
saw her approach, thinking the little dog might be injured, but no, she was
carrying him because her dogs were unhappy about his ...

Today is Vernon's birthday. The cats bought him a video of the 1989 TdF, Nathan
got him a vid on Tom Simpson & I got him a CamelBak & a new front light for his
